We decided to skip the tour companies and take on the underground rail system in Hong Kong to visit Landau Is. The rail system is quite easy to follow, especially onboard trains with audio and visual lit maps highlighting each stop. Even though a train...More

Stayed at an Airbnb and had a great experience! Calm serenity, and with the MTR is 20 minutes to all of HK.

This one is a must visit island for various reasons. First - it hosts the Hongkong Disneyland. Second - if you are in Hongkong and if you don’t do the Ngong Ping 360 - crystal cable car ride up to the Big buddha, you miss...More

Got the exhilarating view and feels while riding on the cable car. Really a fun and exciting way to bong with the family.

We travelled by MRT from HK station. Took the cable car up to Pngong Ping, very touristy, then a bus to Tai O Village which was very interesting.

The cable ride is long and picturesque. Not more than 2 hrs required after you reach Lantau Island. You may keep it for the last day as it is more relaxed. The climb is steep with some 500 steps.

We too did a tour, hence didn’t stay on Lantau Island. There should be accommodations there since the Hong Kong International Airport is on the island. The bus trip from Hong Kong Island is not a long trip, also there is a... More
