Quite a long climb on over 200 steps is quite rewarding once you are there. The view is great and the religious imagery quite nice.

It took hours of waiting in the line (booking ahead would help) to buy tickets and then- to get into your cable car. We paid a little extra for Crystal Cabin (with glass bottom)- no regrets! This is a must see attraction in Hong Kong.

I took the bus 11 from Tung Chung MTR station to Tai O fishing village. Then bus 21 to Big Buddha. Seeing the cows roaming around was unique. I then took the regular car gondola back to Tung Chung

Hello - Big Buddha is very close to the airport and if you get there when it’s open (9am), you’ll be done in two hours. Use the MTR near the airport to take you to the 360. You should also be able to make the peak - take... More

Well, i dont think there are any maps of the area but you dont need any because there are signs and there is just one road. Apart i havent seen any leaflets or information besides signs in Chinese and english.
