See the harbour from Kowloon side, Hong Kong Island has a generally more structured view and a mountain at the back that forms a great picture. A completely different experience day and night.

It was not so sunny on the day I came here so I could not enjoy a completely beautiful city with blue sky, but still feel a nicely active Hongkong from lovely Victoria harbour. A place "must-see" and worth it!

Victoria harbour is worth a visit if you are roaming around Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong. It gives a nice calm feeling and you can take a ferry ride which will be worth every penny

Really pretty for sunrise, fairly easy to get too and lots of locals out running, biking, and fishing. You can watch as the boats start to come in and the buildings across the water.

Victoria Harbor is what you think of in Hong Kong. You will go no matter what as it is the core of the city. Star ferry is excellent. The small shops at the ferry entrance hawk the same trinkets on the street, so get some there. there is an interesting photo gallery on the Central side of the pier. Great... More

It was a pity the avenue of the stars was closed for the construction works - presumable surrounding the extension to the Museum of Art. However the many events and celebrations (weekend) , families, wedding photos , and fishing - -its all happening here.

We walked here to get a first feel of the city. Some of the last part of the promenade and its nearby buildings are closed for renovation. You will have to do a U turn if you get to the end, because there is no exit. Besides that it's a beautiful part of the town. Around 8 pm there is... More

Take a trip on the Star ferry on Victoria harbour...everyone uses it. Good views but can be hazy or unclear at times.

A lot of work going on here at present and it will be nice when finished. Can't walk all the way along the promenade and very noisy in the day. Watching the symphony of lights at night is good.
