Free light show, from Tsim Sha Tsui promenade I believe it started at 7.45 for fifteen mins. Lights set to music playing on the buildings on the Island side. Plenty of places to view it.

The neighborhood is nice and quite calm at night, even the area is full with so many restaurants, cafes and bars. There will be hundreds of hotels and hostels that you can choose, from dormitory to 5 stars hotel. I say you choose hotel or hostel around Moody Rd. because it's so near to MTR gate (N).

As mentioned by other reviewers there is some construction activity going on. However, you can still access large parts of the promenade that offers great view of HK island. I found the daytime views to be less spectacular than the 8pm light show. However, it gets crowded and best to turn up early to grab a good spot (upper terrace).... More

Enjoyed a relaxing stroll along the harbor. Wonderful breeze on a sunny day. Not too hot nor too cold.

Partially closed due to construction work. Go to the promenade from the south side - if you come from the north you will need to cross a playground, go under the road, next to the construction etc.

This is a very pretty wharf with the best view after sunset when they put the laser show on. A lot of tourists and locals come here to walk up and down and you can catch the ferry from the other side. Close to the museums and stalls.

We went to look at the Chinese New Year laterns but found the volume of construction work in the area off putting. Access to the upper decks was also crowded.

Thank Nicole H
