Interesting to walk around, but not much else. Sometimes there is a market you can stroll through. Sadly quite a lot of rubbish when we visited, and it does not appear to be well maintained unlike other attractions I have been to in Jakarta.. massive...More

This is a nice park for a stroll to escape the traffic. Very well maintained gardens. The monument is colossal.

We went here a few times for some peaceful walks and enjoyed the people watching as well as interaction with many friendly locals (despite the usual joint photo-taking requests). It was also a fantastic spot to enjoy New Year‘s Eve with thousands and thousands of...More

If you wait for the little transportation bus they have when you enter; it will take you directly to where you have to enter. Great place to go to see and read about Indonesian history and it's struggle for independence.
