The area was strewn with litter on my visit and I got the impression that no-one respects this special site. There were people (who seemed to be locals waiting for a boat) sat on the cannons who obviously couldn't care less. Don't bother going out...More

The cross and its flanking cannon (one was 'charged' with a Coke bottle when I saw it) appears to be a memorial to a military action of 1879, the days of the Spanish colony. This is the passenger port for the ferry from Batangas ......More

Port is clean, with souvenir shops and small bars to have an ice cold beer. The view is also awesome with beautiful boats parked at the port.

A once port for Spanish galleons, Puerto Galera is a beautiful bay. Elegant yachts grace the bay. Streets are lined with stalls selling a vast array of Filipino souvenirs.

It is a small cross, nothing to write home about but from photos you can see it is a good photo spot.

The Muelle Cross is a landmark located near the vicinity of Muelle Pier. It is worth a few snap shots especially to those visiting Puerto Galera for the first time.

This is where the boats docks if your route is Puerto Galera Muelle. Don't forget to check what they usually called "The Black Rice" at Muelle.
