Me and my friends took a ‘Narra’ Van on a terminal going west of Palawan because Kamia Bay can also be reached through this aside from hiring a personal van. Fare costs 60php. We had to walk a small amount of steps to the registration area where we paid and was gathered by the van going to the main resort. There are stores on the resort for you to buy food, they also have lockers for 100php. The main event in the island is the Inflatable Water Obstacle Course. We were asked whether to go by swimming or by paddle board and I chose to paddle. The area is a kids and kids-at-hearts dream except this isn’t for kids, this is for adults. So basically, adults who are kids-at-heart. Who wants to do American Ninja Warrior. The 3 of us was paired with a Korean couple. We enjoyed the obstacle course but there are 3 main faves that I really enjoyed: the 35ft slide, the 40ft slide and the Human Launcher. Please bring water-proof camera to get the best shots. Part two of the event is the Eco Tour on the 40 hectare resort, it wasn’t that eventful but it was informative aside from being Instagrammable. They also offer trail biking for biking enthusiasts. With regards to food, they offer snacks at around 10 and then 1PM for customers. They have a resto where people can do buffet for a specific amount but we chose to have a combo prepares meal worth 200php. They also dropped us off outside where we easily hailed a van. Will come visit again next time if it allows. I enjoyed here a lot with mu eardums reverbrating. Tyl. Note: Dont bring food, corkage is 300Php They rent aqua gears like aqua shoes. Shower area is outside, CR is for changing only.

Really had so much fun and thrilled with water sport's activity! Our tour guide ( forgot his name ) full of energy and he really did care with us. Just the negative is at the restaurant, our food they said just in 30 minutes it will be served since we are only the guests then that time. But It took more than an hour before they served it. The waitress asked an apologize as she said all the food are frozen so it took longer ( the cooking ). Its accepted! But since we are much hungry we tasted the food right away and I realized all the food are all cold....not fresh from the fire. Well, throughout the day we enjoyed our activity.

During the off season Kamia Bay Aqua[ark had a special deal, 350 pesos for all day use on the inflatables, nature walk and a snack. This promo runs from Beginning of July to end of September and i must say that after 25 years living in Puerto Princesa this was value for money. You leave your vehicle in the car park and a minibus takes you to the beach where you are given instructions before being accompanied by a lifeguard to the inflatables at the waterpark. It is a little like a Ninja Warrior Course , climbing up to 35 ft and 40 ft slides and perhaps another 20 different inflatables.

I've been living in PP for a little over a month and over the holidays saw a kiosk in the SM mall for Kamia Bay. What I didn't realize is that it was just 26 miles south of PP and beyond googling it, its been next to impossible to find other marketing for the resort so I sent them a message on facebook to see if they were even still open. I drove out on a Tuesday and arrived at about 0945 in the morning. I had the ENTIRE park to myself until about 2 in the afternoon but the staff and everyone were so lovely and accommodating. First I went on the eco tour which is about a 1 mile walk and is offered at 10am and 2pm sharp. There are 5 stations on the tour, including seeing a traditional bamboo hut, walking through a 40 foot bamboo tunnel, and a beautiful overlook. After the walk, I decided to paddlleboard around the bay for an hour which was included in the price of admission and was unlimited. By this time it was time for lunch and as it was just me, they served me (unlimited) plates family style to my table of pork asado in a teriyaki like sweet sauce, fried fish, fried chicken, pancit bihon, steamed rice, garlic egg soup, cucumber salad, buttered veg, pitchers of water and iced tea and finished off with a serving of clear lychee. All of that variety of food, just for me. Insane. I rested a bit after lunch and then it was time to play on the inflatables. I only got an hour on the inflatables but that was enough. What a work-out, albeit a fun one! Everything from the water slides to the trampolines and trying to run through it like an obstacle course, which was a lot harder than it looked. I was exhausted after an hour of going non stop and I"m in ridiculous shape. haha. I then was able to take a fresh water shower, change and then drive back to PP. I'm still bafffled how there weren't more tourists there. It was so close to PP and a perfect fun activity to do on a hot day. You could even tie it in to a visit with the Irawan prison or croc farm as you pass both on the drive out there. Their marketing team needs to do a much better job and get flyers into the hotels because the fact that this place isn't getting more traffic is again, just baffling.... not that i"m complaining to have a whole fun waterpark to myself, but I'd hate to see it close. Also, I do highly recommend it for kids, but they have to be at least 7 years old and there is also a height minimum.

Surrounded by deep blue green water and majestic mountain range, Kamia Bay Resort, a hideaway offering day trip packages, just had an intensive makeover to house Asia's largest inflatable waterpark to date, the Aqua Play Parks. No less thrilling a feature of Kamia Bay Resort is its ecotour where guests can explore the entire property on foot or bicycle. The trail weaves through lines of trees and mangroves making it fairly cooler. At the far side of the resort are rock formations. Adjacent to it is a forest of slender trees. I think the place is like a venue for shooting an enchanted movie scene. I had some "mermaid shots" and other crazy poses in the area.
