After driving for 2 hours from Panglao island and climbing about 200 steps, we finally got to see the famous Chocolate hills. A beautiful view as far as nature goes, but nothing overly impressive. We spent half an hour there. Remember to bring your hat and sunscreen, because there is no shade once you are on top of the viewing... More

It was also part of the package trip, had to climb loooooong stairs to be able to see the full view. And it was really mesmerizing.. It was noon, so the heat of the sun was a blast, I had to go down as soon as I've taken enough photos. Be sure to bring water by the way!

It's a half day trip to the center of bohol. Their are some stairs to climb up to the top of place, but it's worth the view from top. Our guide had different stories for formation of chocolate hills and was interesting to hear strange stories. Perhaps it's the top destination visited in bohol. Their are some mountains with trees... when we visited it was not quite Chocolate in colour more Pistachio. worth a look if on a day tour, can be quite busy and again no shade if hot. Be prepared to walk up around 200 to 300 stairs for a better viewing platform. Lots of people here were using drones which was quite noisy and was very annoying.

Fascinating trip to see one of natures creations. About an hours drive from the ferry port to the centre of the island.

We came here by private tour and after seeing the tersiers, we enjoyed a buggy ride to the chocolates hills, followed by the platform viewpoint. We had fun in all occasions. The hills are called chocolate as they dry and become brown in colour in the dry season.

We took a private car with driver to take us to Chocolate Hills. There was a lot of traffic and congestion at the top of the viewing area car park so if you self drive be prepared. Our driver dropped us at the base of the stairs and we found him later in the parking area. The climb to the... More

Took a tour of the chocolate hills. We did not do the ATV riding. We drove to the top of the lookout and walked up another 200 or so steps. Great views on the top! Unfortunately they were getting unseasonable wet weather and the hills were green. Was beautiful but was pretty hot day. Traffic was terrible up to the... More

As part of a package tour, it is one of the must see places in Bohol. Make sure you make it to the top of the viewing platform to get the best view. It was interesting to know that these hills (and the entire island) are mostly made out of limestone which explains why the grass dries up and turns... More
