We stayed at Station 2 on white beach but walked across to see how this side of the beach looked like. What a disaster. It was around 8 in the morning, with low tide there was a plot of sea weed and smelly stuff on the beach. We saw a few tourists and locals cleaning but they would need more than a few hands to take that smelly stuff out of the beach.
Cannot compare white beach with Bulabog. It’s chalk and cheese to me.

This is a lovely, calm water bay. It is a local beach and the sand is not as white. But the water is crystal clear - and at this time of year at least is very calm and wave free. Ideal spot for a bit of floating, a canoe selfie, some swimming and relaxing in the sun. Definitely one of the under-rated beaches!

Unfortunately the kite surf spot in Boracay is NOT recommended because the water is HIGHLY polluted with sewage. All kite students I met in Boracay had experienced terrible infections: fever, very bad pain in the whole body, vomiting, diarrhea.
The reason is that all sewage water in Boracay ends up in Bolabog Beach (kite surf beach). This is not a secret as you can clearly see 3 pipes leading in to the beach water. You can even smell it in some places. Some people tried to address this to the government through written statements. However, it was being ignored until now, though still collecting an “environmental fee” from each tourist travelling to Boracay!

Known for its safe water for kite-boarding and windsurfing enthusiasts as coral reef protects the entire area. The place has it's own identity and fame if you will compare it to its opposite side - White Beach.

Bulabog Beach is truly a windsurf and kite-board mecca of Asia.

most of the water activities at boracay is done at bulabog.. especially if the winds and tides are not acceptable at the front beach.. (station 1-3)
if you wanted to try some activities, i prefer you not to engage with the agents/vendor at the front beach.. (these are the bunch of guys who carry laminated flyers and offers activities at different prices) yes they were helpful and friendly but they almost double the price.
GO directly to office of the sports and activites provider.. they are all located at bulabog beach.. they have free shuttle service from your hotel to bulabog vice versa..

red coral -helmet diving Php 300 Pax
napoleon -parasailing- Php 1200-1300 pax
-jet ski Php 1200-1300 pax 30 mins

price changes depending on season..

the beach is beautiful - but totally spoilt by all the trash in the sand and floating in the water.

trying to avoid the broken glass strewn everywhere is also unpleasant.

there are too many boats in the morning, making it impossible to find a place to swim, so you have to walk forever to get to a place where you can enjoy the water - and yet its still dirty.

This beach is opposite white sand beach station1 , it's dumped with garbage and construction site, sewage black pipelines, not nice to see, but the warters are more crystal clear and low tide than that of white sand beach on the east.

I have been to Boracay and stayed on Bulabog beach for a kitesurfing trip between 29 Jabuary 2018- 10 february 2018. I am extremely disappointed to see sewage water being discharged in to the Bulabog beach (not even a deep-water discharge but 3 or 4 meters into the water from the beach at three different locations (see the photos). The kitesurf establishments along the beach were all in denial and tried to downplay the whole sewage water problem. The water is always dirty, the smell is terrible. One can actually see the sewage water being discharged especially on flat-water days. Depending on then wind direction, waste water accumulates along the shore creating a heavy smell. The people are nice but the island is overall dirty. One cannot even walk its streets without having his/her legs smeared in water leaking from trash and sewage.

Honestly they need a massive clean up effort. There is sooooo much trash in the water. I paid for a two hour lesson and rental and didn’t see the trash until already in the water. I’ve never seen this much trash in the water. It also smelled like poop in some areas. Really sad. I hope the municipality or local businesses can hand together and fix this.
