The trek inside the cave is longer than some caves I've been in. It was something different to do. The scenery leading up to the cave is awesome. My review is about Pangihan Cave on the mainland of Aklan.

You will find hundreds of fruit bats all around and inside this cave. This is a nesting ground for bats. Pretty cool place to see.

I visited the bat caves just at sunset. I had been told that the bats fly out of the caves at sunset. Sure enough out they came. So many that they almost turned the sky black.

the bats not in the caves but on the tree. such a new and great experience. beautiful scenic place. thousands of bats were hanging on the trees.

Yes, you can kayak there, but timing is everything. Needs to be calm wind, or blowing from the Northeast. The swinging of the currents around low tide can make landing your kayak tricky, or even dangerous. There are... More
