If you are just a little bit sporty, definitely go for this version of cannyoning instead of the lazy Kawasan Falls. It is a great experience and you feel like you actually achieved something after it. We did not have the best weather for this experience but then we enjoyed relaxing in the hot lagoons even more. Definitely recommended! Enjoy... More

This was an epic day full of fabulous scenery, abseiling and jumps down falls and gorges. Mario at planet action took good care of everyone's safety. You NEED to do this. It was the best activity.

We used to visit Mainit Hot Spring as kids during summer vacations at our paternal grandparents house in Malabuyoc. I only learned from friends that Mainit Hot Springs has now become one of the tourist attractions in the southwest cebu. I was not disappointed since 4 new mini wading pools with different temperatures were built . LATELY though i have... More

My family actually visited this place since my mom is from Cebu. Her friend in Malabuyoc recommended us to try this one. It was just a great idea to refuse that time since we felt the need to take a splash out of the summer heat. Transportation was accessible by bus then by pedicab. The view was great. The water... Montaneza Falls is one of the many falls located in the southern part of Cebu. It is located in Malabuyoc, Cebu just right after the Mainit Springs. It's a seven (7) level falls. The environmental fee of 20 pesos includes Mainit Spring and Montaneza Falls. try to visit this falls.

Its not that awesome compared to all other falls I've been to. Especially during our visit when water current is so strong due to heavy rain during early morning but still you will enjoy the beauty of nature. :) I like it because of its levels or steps going to the water fall source.

Don't get me wrong with my title of my little review... We went there last Saturday, 14MAR2015, with my wanderlust friends. We just went for an unplanned roadtrip down south and immediately thought of this place.During our visit, we planned to go to the upper deck, however, it was closed. Closed because there was huge rock obstructing the passageway going... More

We did canyoneering here which consumed one day fulled with thrill and fun. There were five waterfalls that you have to abseil, repel and might as well jump! the best part was, 7 metres height free fall from three different waterfalls. This expereince was amazing. We went here by taking Action Adventure Package which cost us about 2000 PHP including... More

We booked a canyoning trip with Planet Action Sports and we loved it. This is a strenuous activity that takes several hours. We rappelled down 4 or 5 falls, one being over 100 feet. The hike up to the starting point at the peak is not for the feint of heart add it will test your fitness. Take lots of... More

We were brought here by Planet Action unknowingly (having thought that we were going canyoning at Kawasan Falls). Canyoning at Montaneza Falls is a whole new ball game, you need a certain level of fitness and good proper shoes, especially if it's drizzling and the grounds are slippery. Was it worth it? I'd say half and half. If you're adventurous... More
