    Amazing views
At the base we found a very helpful staff who provided us with a great advice and suggestions about the Fort Siloso. We took the elevator up and enjoyed the amazing views from the skywalk 360degrees. I have a fear of heights but still managed to enjoy this amazing experience. I even skyped my parents from there so they were able to enjoy with us. What a great find in Singapore, and even gratis.

Amazing views - a must do
We caught the elevator up & down as part of our Island tour trip. A picturesque / bird's eye view of Sentosa and its surrounds. haha not sure about the glass and grate platforms (for those who hate heights) - but the skywalk is absolutely worth while and a lovely stroll to the fort.

Amazing views of Singapore and Sentosa, plus history of Fort Siloso
This is a free attraction of Sentosa Island, and worth a visit to understand the importance of Fort Siloso during the Wars. We started at the bottom, and took the free elevator to the top of the skywalk, which afforded amazing views of both Sentosa and Singapore. Along the way there are shaded areas, and plenty of information boards to gather history. Fort Siloso itself is a good piece of history for the area, and how it served as defence of Singapore. There are plenty of old structures to see, with lots of information.

Guest experience is created by many factors, the key areas include the facilities, environment and very importantly the ambassador working on the island, can make or break a guest's experience.

The ambassador, the staff on the island manning Siloso Skywalk saw from a distance that my friend and I were brisk walking with face mask, shouted acrossed " Put on your face mask" twice. We were shocked. We went up to explain to her calmly that we have walked 9km along the coasts and beaches, it was hard to breathe with face masks on. She could hv said something to the effect "I understand you are doing your brisk walking, please put on your face mask aftee you hv caught your breath". There is no need to shout at guests, let alone 2 harmless, sweaty women in our 50s. Also the skywalk is 11-storey high, if that is not strenous to us, what is?

We abided, but I felt my staycation on the island was ruined. I was there to celebrate my birthday. I later wrote to Sentosa Guest Experience team to my feedback, this time I got really upset when the reply started "lecturing" me about the ambassador on the island has to firmly remind guests to wear face masks, and wrote a list of stuff on thd importance of wearing face mask. The Guest Experience Senior Executive who replied me totally missed my point. Firm and Rude are not the same. And the location is an island resort, is it too much to expect courtesy?

If this is how the island's Guest Experience Team operates, I am really disappointed. Sentosa is one of my favourite places in Singapore and I always enourage all guests/tourists to visit. Now, I have second thought sadly.

Even if it is good for photos, the beach view is spoilt by the cargo ships in front of the beach? They should move the ships to other islands cos this is a holiday resort.
The fort siloso seriously needs revamp cos no excitement when visiting. Have some activities like look for pokemons type activties
Players answer q on fort siloso then they get a pokemon , etc.

We are a smart nation why cant we hire the game creator, yes the locals to create games for tourist sites that are dying in visitorship? No point spending money to market Singapore if the places are just too boring to visit?

Since the lift up here is on maintenance, we could catch the shuttle bus to part fort siloso and to this skywalk for free.

Great views of the surrounding islands and explanations and history of the islands and the straights. The walk was divided up with shaded areas which discussed history or developments. A great walk with great views which leads to Fort Siloso

There simply was not enough time to do everything on Sentosa in a morning. We saw the skywalk but after doing Mt. Faber and the Henderson Wave, we simply did not have enough time. If you can't do the others, make the trip here.

This is a free attraction near the Shangri La Hotel at the western end of Sentosa Island. It is accessed via a lift and is a nice walk along the tree line with lovely views. It leads to Fort Siloso.

Take the route A bus to Siloso Point and get the lift up to the skywalk. It's all free. The walk has fantastic views all round and lots of interesting information about the history of Singapore and what you are looking at. The skywalk is in the open, but each display board is undercover so you can read in the shade. A great prelude to visiting Fort Siloso.

Great place to enjoy the views of both Siloso beach and the Harbourfront area on the other side. There was also a nice breeze when we were on the Skywalk around evening.

We didn't spot any toilets at the Skywalk so visit the ones at Siloso Point first (there's a shop opposite the 7-11 convenience stall selling coconut smoothie which is really good on a hot day).

If you intend to visit Fort Siloso as well, do note the lift for the Skywalk stops operation at 7pm and last entry to Fort Siloso is at 5.30pm. There's a staircase to walk down after 7pm but it looks like it could be at least 10 storeys high.

Tuck away beside Shangri-La's Rasa Sentosa Resort, you can take the lifts up from ground floor all the way up. The skywalk gives you almost a bird eye view above Siloso Beach and over looking at Labrador Park. This is a path that can also lead you to Fort Siloso. Usually the skywalk is not crowded, so it will give you lots of time to take photos. It is a great place to watch the sunset after a swim at the Siloso Beach before you head back.
