- mjail51,460 contributionsWalk with Views Leading to a Historical SiteWe took the currently free Sentosa Express from Vivo City and alighted at the last stop - Beach Station. From there, we took the free shuttle to the last stop - Siloso Point. Walk to the road and head left and the starting point is not far from there. There is a lift to get to the top of the Skywalk and here you can enjoy the sweeping views of the city area as well as the sea. There is an Info Board that tells you of the islands in front of you. The Skywalk takes you to Fort Siloso which was a fort built by the British to defend Singapore. Highly recommend that you walk the grounds to get a feel of fort life during WWII. Both the Skywalk and Fort Siloso are free.Visited July 2022Written 2 August 2022
- JeffLeongSingapore, Singapore3,650 contributionsLovely elevated views from SkywalkAlighting the bus shuttle at Siloso Point station, a short walk leads to the Skywalk entrance. With free admission, two lifts bring visitors up to the Skywalk which is about 11 storeys high. The Skywalk is not sheltered save for intermittent points where display panels describe the views in front. Despite the sunny and hot weather, we enjoyed the cool sea breeze as we took in the views. Panoramic views can be enjoyed of the harbourfront skyline on the mainland, cable car towers with moving cable cars, Siloso Beach and the ships anchored off the southern coast of Singapore. The elevated walkway leads to the Fort Siloso attractions.Visited September 2020Written 11 September 2020

The walk was divided up with shaded areas which discussed history or developments. A great walk with great views which leads to Fort SilosoVisited June 2022Written 27 June 2022

Lots of good information posted along this partially covered, elevated walkway. Great place for photos in all directions from the harbour to the city.

Really enjoyed the skywalk and found the Fort Sileso tour fascinating. The view from the walk was amazing. It's hot and humid but there are free water bubblers to refill your bottle.

Nice walk over and through the treetops with a great view over Sentosa and back to Singapore. The fort was closed off for maintenance at the far end. Walked back down the steps and through the pathway through the forest.

This is a free attraction near the Shangri La Hotel at the western end of Sentosa Island. It is accessed via a lift and is a nice walk along the tree line with lovely views. It leads to Fort Siloso.

This skywalk leads you to the Fort Siloso site where you can spend 2 - 3 hours strolling and absorbing some of the history of Singapore. Recommended.

This review is based on others and I’ve created a happy medium of 3*
The reason for not talking it is that the cable car views afford the same 360* panorama, albeit from an even higher vantage point
Only go if ur a tick off Sentosa attractions list type of person

There are fantastic views through the rain forests of Singapore. We saw and heard a lot of birds during our walk. When you exit the skywalk, you arrive right by Fort Siloso.

New since our previous visit to Sentosa (which was a few years ago, for obvious reasons). We enjoyed approaching Fort Siloso at treetop level with wonderful views of the forest canopy and across to Singapore Island.

This trek is a picturesque way to enjoy a bird's eye view of the fort. Fort Siloso is more than 70 years old and is the only preserved coastal fort in Singapore.

THe cable car station is around a 50m walk from the base of the Skywalk. Fort Siloso time will depend upon your interest level. You could skip around in an hour if your interest is limited and you just wander the main surface trails at moderate speed. That would be the absolute minimum for someone to just walk around the entire place including the skywalk while actually taking a look at things.
Myself - I can spend 3 hours there easily - with exhibitions in bunkers, the small museum buildings, the tunnels, the skywalk itself.
What is price for skywalk? Can I buy tickets on-line or on tt day go down and buy.. Cqn I just go for the skywalk?
