We took the currently free Sentosa Express from Vivo City and alighted at the last stop - Beach Station. From there, we took the free shuttle to the last stop - Siloso Point. Walk to the road and head left and the starting point is not far from there.
There is a lift to get to the top of the Skywalk and here you can enjoy the sweeping views of the city area as well as the sea. There is an Info Board that tells you of the islands in front of you.
The Skywalk takes you to Fort Siloso which was a fort built by the British to defend Singapore. Highly recommend that you walk the grounds to get a feel of fort life during WWII. Both the Skywalk and Fort Siloso are free.

Great views of the surrounding islands and explanations and history of the islands and the straights. The walk was divided up with shaded areas which discussed history or developments. A great walk with great views which leads to Fort Siloso

Friends
Guest experience is created by many factors, the key areas include the facilities, environment and very importantly the ambassador working on the island, can make or break a guest's experience.
The ambassador, the staff on the island manning Siloso Skywalk saw from a distance that my friend and I were brisk walking with face mask, shouted acrossed " Put on your face mask" twice. We were shocked. We went up to explain to her calmly that we have walked 9km along the coasts and beaches, it was hard to breathe with face masks on. She could hv said something to the effect "I understand you are doing your brisk walking, please put on your face mask aftee you hv caught your breath". There is no need to shout at guests, let alone 2 harmless, sweaty women in our 50s. Also the skywalk is 11-storey high, if that is not strenous to us, what is?
We abided, but I felt my staycation on the island was ruined. I was there to celebrate my birthday. I later wrote to Sentosa Guest Experience team to my feedback, this time I got really upset when the reply started "lecturing" me about the ambassador on the island has to firmly remind guests to wear face masks, and wrote a list of stuff on thd importance of wearing face mask. The Guest Experience Senior Executive who replied me totally missed my point. Firm and Rude are not the same. And the location is an island resort, is it too much to expect courtesy?
If this is how the island's Guest Experience Team operates, I am really disappointed. Sentosa is one of my favourite places in Singapore and I always enourage all guests/tourists to visit. Now, I have second thought sadly.

Even if it is good for photos, the beach view is spoilt by the cargo ships in front of the beach? They should move the ships to other islands cos this is a holiday resort.
The fort siloso seriously needs revamp cos no excitement when visiting. Have some activities like look for pokemons type activties
Players answer q on fort siloso then they get a pokemon , etc.
We are a smart nation why cant we hire the game creator, yes the locals to create games for tourist sites that are dying in visitorship? No point spending money to market Singapore if the places are just too boring to visit?
Since the lift up here is on maintenance, we could catch the shuttle bus to part fort siloso and to this skywalk for free.

Alighting the bus shuttle at Siloso Point station, a short walk leads to the Skywalk entrance. With free admission, two lifts bring visitors up to the Skywalk which is about 11 storeys high. The Skywalk is not sheltered save for intermittent points where display panels describe the views in front. Despite the sunny and hot weather, we enjoyed the cool sea breeze as we took in the views.
Panoramic views can be enjoyed of the harbourfront skyline on the mainland, cable car towers with moving cable cars, Siloso Beach and the ships anchored off the southern coast of Singapore. The elevated walkway leads to the Fort Siloso attractions.

There are two ways to get to the Skywalk. Either walking up the stairs via the Fort Siloso Trail or u can take the lift at Siloso Fort. Here is where you will see amazing views of Sentosa and its surrounding seas. And it is a free attraction!

Take the lift up and walk along skywalk views all a round look out to sea spot the island look over Sentosa island and views of Singapore. Worth the walk along passing by the beach, bars and restaurants. You can catch the free shuttle down to silso beach, it`s about a few minutes walk from here.

THe cable car station is around a 50m walk from the base of the Skywalk. Fort Siloso time will depend upon your interest level. You could skip around in an hour if your interest is limited and you just wander the main surface trails at moderate speed. That would be the absolute minimum for someone to just walk around the entire place including the skywalk while actually taking a look at things.
Myself - I can spend 3 hours there easily - with exhibitions in bunkers, the small museum buildings, the tunnels, the skywalk itself.
What is price for skywalk? Can I buy tickets on-line or on tt day go down and buy.. Cqn I just go for the skywalk?

it was free.
Although you do need a pass to enter into Sentosa .
If you are staying on Sentosa Island it will all be covered on you entry pass.
The Fort Siloso Skywalk is near Shangri La resort end of the island.
A lift gives you access to the skywalk.
