The staffs at ifly, specifically Nisa & Ryiana were very friendly and accommodating. Tho we arrived later than our booked slot, they managed to give us another slot which was right after. The instructors there were nice and patient. In conclusion, ifly is a great experience that one should never miss!

Do NOT buy their long term package. If anything comes up to prevent you using the package (eg medical changes), you won't even be allowed to give the package to someone else.

My wife and I enjoyed our trial flight experience and so bought full members' packages. Unfortunately, my wife now has chronic back pain and I have a recurring knee injury, so we won't be able to use any of the flights we've paid for.

When I asked the team about transferring the packages to friends or relatives, they just threw their T&C at me. They have "kindly" offered to extend the package validity as an "alternative solution".

Very puzzling management decision here. They gain nothing from this except bad press from us going forward. They also lose out on getting themselves new fans - the people who could have received the packages might have signed up for even more flights afterwards.

..

Update 9 months later: So iFly got in touch with me moaning about how I didn't give them a chance.

I informed the CS rep about how they had shafted us and how their manager didn't even bother to talk to us.

They said they would email me and make things right. 7 days later, only crickets.

I definitely do NOT recommend this company.

This person has a very bad customer service, acting like customers are under her. You should not put such bad mood, angry bird person in the frontline

So we had booked slots for my daughter and her friends. You pay this expensive price just for 45 secs of flying. My 10 year old panicked just on entering the flying zone and the trainer got her out. The trainer nowhere tried to understand her problem and didn’t even ask her to try again. After we insisting they offered her to try. But she refused as she found the trainer wasn’t even holding her properly. All in all for us it was a sheer waste of money. If you aren’t sure about your kids doing it, then don’t go for it.

Had a horrible experience at iFly Singapore towards the end of the year. My son was the 1st person in his set to go through his session. Not sure if the instructor was not trained. As soon as the session started, i noticed my son was struggling. He hit the panel at the bottom once. The instructor tried to pull him up by using his left hand. The session finished in a few seconds, but i noticed that my son was in pain. He felt a snap on his left shoulder and was in considerable pain. He remained uncomfortable for a few days but after that his left shoulder popped out and it was determined that he had a tear. He is still in pain. Am writing this so parents are aware that skydiving is dangerous. A lot of small kids take diving sessions. Please be aware of the risks - we certainly had a horrible experience.

I had a fun time flying, but beware because it is very hard to breathe since the air is forcing the air straight into my nose and mouth. I had to keep gasping for air since it was very hard to breathe, my brother keeps making the thumbs down because he wanted to get out, I stayed while holding my breath and gasping for air for the 2 flights in the wind tunnel. I recommend this place because it is a very fun experience you need to try while in Singapore and yes I do think its expensive but worth the money. What I also do not like is that for the DIGITAL photos is 30SGD to get sent to your email, no hard copy just a DIGITAL photo is 30SGD. I'm 12 and my little brother is 11.

It was a really thrilling experience for me. Not the same as skydiving, but it's exciting in it's own way in that you can go up and down and for those who are trained, they can really experience the freedom of moving freely in the air. It's really fun and I think it's worth giving it a try!

Horrendous experience for our 8-year-old birthday. He went into the waiting area of the tunnel with a bunch of adults, whilst I was ushered away to the cafe area and was not allowed to be seaedt outside on the other side of the protected screen by him (maybe to stop us taking video's - there was no other reason for me to be ushered away!).
Once he saw the first adult spinning around and lose all control and training tips (and who just kept on giving the thumbs down - to get out), my son freaked out and started sobbing to get out. It took 5 mins to seek the assistant's eye to allow me back inside the "restricted area" to be seated outside by my Son on the other side of the glass perimeter.

I said that he wanted out, that he didn't want to be inside anymore. It took another 8-10 minutes for them to let him out. Then nothing. No questions on " how was he, what was up, does he need help etc etc". We just wanted to go and got him out of the uniform. On the way out I spoke with the reception, and told them exactly what happened - a blank look is all we received. No empathy. Nothing!! I asked could a voucher be given as no "Dive" took place due to the irresponsible experience of seeing a fully grown adult completely be out of her depth and scaring our young son, and yet receive a flat "NO. No refunds allowed and NO Vouchers!!"

Thank you very much IFLY for ruining our son's Birthday - maybe all your staff and instructors should take more awareness and empathy training and look out for those most vulnerable and let the children go first in the line!! Or at least let them out when sobbing and scared to death!

I agree with the other reviewers. It is an extremely short flight, 15 seconds max, not 15 minutes they like you to think. Wind tunnel speed can range from 170km/hr to over 200km/hr. It is extremely difficult to breathe which they don’t disclose to you before you flash out your credit card. Best advice is to place your face in front of a full force Vornardo fan and try to breathe, that is the level of difficult in breathing in the wind tunnel. Videos seem easy because they are trained professionals. I recommend saving your hard earned money and use it elsewhere at Sentosa
