Went five years ago and it was so much fun. Decided to go again. Absolute rubbish now. They’ve changed it to AR and it doesn’t work. It’s no longer “trick eye”. If I could have given this zero stars, I would have. Housed in some half built warehouse, WiFi doesn’t work properly and the only trick it did was trick me into buying tickets again. Avoid this place. Save your money. It was 20 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Words cannot express how utterly disappointing this whole experience was. This place is a like a glaring sore thumb amidst the other amazing attractions sentosa has to offer (especially after we had gone to USS and SEA aquarium). It’s hard to imagine anyone who even has experience in tourism industry putting together this absolute mess. To say it was like a primary school art exhibition is even an insult to primary school teachers. From the start, even getting to the place was perhaps a cautionary warning that this place is nothing like what trick eye museum used to be like or appears to be in previous search engine reviews online. Took bus A from beach station to Southside which just seems like a random bus stop next to a patch of grass in the middle of no where after going down the windy siloso road. The road past the interim market to the museum literally seems like an afterthought, with no intention to showcase the museum, more like a little path to a back entrance toilet. Young front counter staff were pleasant but also seem abit sheepish introducing to you the VR app because perhaps they know this place is an absolute waste of money. The entire place is basically 4 empty rooms with exposed lighting above (so all your photos have that weird glare from the top) and the props around jsut seem randomly placed because they have no where to go - especially the last room. Don’t expect to get any actual “trick eye illusions” with the props either because they aren’t even placed properly behind their original backdrops at the old trick eye museum. The AR app is snail pace slow even after connecting to the location app, by the time it loads you probably have decided to give up and move on (and then realize this is a huge waste of money after your toddler runs thru all the rooms in barely 2 minutes and reaches the exit). The AR app is an immense waste of time, there are no markers for the photographer or those being photographed, what results is that there is probably barely a 10cm space in which you should be standing whereby you can get a shot with the VR effect without being blocked by it , but of course there are no markers on the ground or signs around the place or information in the app explaining to you to try and do so, and even trying to do so is not worth the time spent trial and error with the app. It’s so bad that I actually deleted all the videos we took with the VR app because it’s so weird looking after positioning ourselves - parts of your body can get cut off with the VR effects because they don’t blend you into the background, it just blocks you off. In fact the photos we just took with our normal camera were marginally nicer - and I mean in the sense of just taking photos against an extremely pixelated backdrop printed on the walls. And because of the weird spotlight above, the “illusionary effect” of the backdrop doesn’t even come through on the photos so I don’t even see what’s the point. This place is just a huge embarrassment in Sentosa and I wonder why it’s even still operating or selling tickets. It’s as if the original trick eye museum has gone bust and they have all these left over props that they don’t know what to do with and have decided to just chuck it all in a warehouse and then decide to unscrupulously still try to make money out of this. So horrified by this absolute waste of time and money and a waste of a precious family day in this place. I’m not even sharing photos because they were not even worth keeping in my phone memory space.

Not very good. Expensive and frustrating overall. When you download the app, you then have to wait ages for other people to finish their photos and half of the photos don’t work properly. My daughter’s head frequently disappeared and she was headless in the final photos. Most of the illusions are pretty underwhelming. Might have been cool about 15 years ago but outdated and tired now.

We previously visited Trick Eye Singapore when it was located near the entrance to Universal Studios Singapore and loved the experience. This new location at the end of the island has far far fewer exhibits, very few were interactive, they gave no directions on how to get the optimum shot (aside from a “stand here” dot on the floor) and it cost a considerable percentage more. On a very hot day, we walked for ages in the heat to get here only to be extremely disappointed and through the whole thing in less than 30 minutes. At $32SGD each I would definitely not recommend this and feel like we wasted our time and money.

We had done the more conventional museum the other side of the island and enjoyed it. This was a more virtual Trickeye which you had to fumble through and didn't know what to do. I did ask and received some help which got me started, but still missed out on the first few scenes people were coming in so couldn't go back. There were features that were not intuitive and being pushed missed opportunities to try things out. It was expensive and felt frustrated and cheated. It was expensive a way to improve it would be to have a quick training session or the cost would be for two sessions, a weekday and weekend or 2 weekday sessions so you could work out what you could do for the second session and feel you were not ripped off.

This is not the trick eye museum we saw in pics. They just have 4 small rooms. And there is NO TRICK FOR THE EYE in this "Trick eye museum". They are making us fools by ripping us with SG$ 35 per head. People, if I had known this from before I would have been spared with financial as well as mental torture. My kids also got bored. I Am just surprised they are still open and charging such amounts for nothing. The authorities should close it and stop making fool out of Travellers over there.

Beware of the fact that there seem to be TWO different trick eye museums on Sentosa - one is temporarily closed and the other one is at Southside (near Siloso Beach) and that one is an absolute scam, rip off and scandal!!
It is not worth the ticket price of over SGD 30.- at all - actually it would not even be worth 5 bucks!
There are only 4 rooms and it has almost nothing to do with the original trick eye museum which is/was closer to the S.E.A. Aquarium side.
Don‘t get TRICKED!! 😤

Not a very big place but full of surprises inside. Total of 6 zones but we took almost 3 hours to take the pictures. Will be good to download their special app so that u can take special effect pictures.

Totally love this place.

A small area that can be completed within 1h. With safe distancing measures, must book online as it can be fully booked - avoid walking in. Even with limit of 40. Still need to Q.

Suggestion to walk in the opp direction first.... so that you dont clash with others. Remember to download app for 3D effect.

Not a big fan of taking photos but do see people enjoying themselves.
