first of all, the google map still indicates the old location and is terribly misleading. The current place is not easy to get to ( directions to Siloso- Beach station, then barely any signs to the container building. It was a far, far cry from the previous museum in Singapore, which was already smaller than the one in Korea. The AR app barely worked and kept crashing and just spoils the experience. Finished in less than half an hour

I have been to a Truck Eye Museum in another country and it was a great experience. Was looking forward to the same. Disappointed and wouldn’t have wasted my time or money had I known that it was so small.

Went to trick eye 9 years ago and it was amazing. There's alot of exhibition and lots of fun trick eye photo to take.
The new one located at beach station sucks so badly. Its located in like a warehouse kind of building idk and its small. Nothing much to see and u can complete the whole thing in 15-20 minutes. They have asked to download the app but the pictures turn out to be so blurry. The exhibitions are mostly not "trickeye" at all. Even if i have free tickets, I will NOT GO. If i can give 0 review I definitely would. Oh and their toilets are so dirty 🤢

Having been to a Trickeye in Hong Kong several years ago, we had high expectations here. Expectations that were not close to being met.
The entire exhibit is cartoon pictures based around using their app for very average AR versions of the displays.
If you've done a trickeye before, don't do this one. If you want to experience a trickeye, don't do this one.

Watered-down version of a glorious past, it's a complete waste of time and money now

It's a complete waste of time and money. So much so that i feel cheated. I had fond memories of this museum from a trip in the past. They've shifted this museum to another spot recently. The quality has gone down significantly. None of the old illusions are there anymore. I was taken aback when the exhibits ended abruptly just after a few AR exhibits which were sub-par and amateurish. Still in shock and disappointment, I questioned the staff and was told that based on user feedback, they have put up these few Instagram-friendly illusions. Would not recommend it to anyone. It's a complete complete complete waste of time.

As other user have noted the app is not a great experience - slow to load at the different picture setting (which maybe makes it feels like there is more to it) and so would be frustrating if you waiting for others to do the same thing.
$90Sing for a family of 4. Took us about 30 mins.
We have been to better trickeye exhibits, I wouldn’t say many of these were true trickeye images, if you used the app it was a unique experience but as I said it was slow to load and use. Many were not what we’d consider optical illusions but different picture and settings.
I’d find it hard to recommend this for the price you pay. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t great but it would be y enjoyable if crowded and everyone was using the app.
Upside is it wasn’t busy.

What an absolute waste of time, we went in a group of 8, we were all looking forward to doing some amazing pictures and having a blast. How let down we were. We had to use an App that kept dropping out so we didn't get a lot of pictures of this so called *trick eye*. The staff were no help at all and it's like 4 rooms with very minimal pictures on the walls. I left very upset and yes I had words to say when I left. So if your thinking of adding this *so called* attraction to your list when next your in singapore , DONT !!!

Complete waste of money! There are only four rooms which take about 10 minutes to go round and are not impressive to see. This is in a new location so many pictures online are not from the new site. I would not recommend.

Went five years ago and it was so much fun. Decided to go again. Absolute rubbish now. They’ve changed it to AR and it doesn’t work. It’s no longer “trick eye”. If I could have given this zero stars, I would have. Housed in some half built warehouse, WiFi doesn’t work properly and the only trick it did was trick me into buying tickets again. Avoid this place. Save your money. It was 20 minutes of my life I will never get back.

Is there any extra charges if I carry my SLR camera with me
TrickEyeMuseumSG
Singapore, Singapore
Dear Mbhawna,
Thanks for your question! You'll only need to pay for the admission ticket, and you'll be able to carry any kind of photography equipment into the museum to take photos. Do bring your smartphone along with you so you can download our AR app to take augmented reality photos and videos during your visit.
Thanks!

Once you land ,contact any local travel agent to get the best rates.
Buying tickets at the counter costs more.Almost all tickets are available online but ,buying from local travel agents would help you save more on tickets.Except for Night safari, the tickets have a validity of 3-6 months.Only for Night Safari plan your dates and buy the tickets.

What would be the easiest way to get to Trick Eye Museum while I am on the Island?
Is it near Madame Tussauds or the SEA aquarium?
Lokesh G
Singapore, Singapore6 contributions
It's right opposite to the SEA Aquarium. When you come out of SEA Aquarium, you will see Malaysian food court. Go On the left side of this (you will cross K-Pop studio). Trick Eye Museum is right after this.
