This temple was not on our list at all. In fact, we were informed of the existence of this temple only at Srinivasa Perumal temple. And when we reached there it was such a pleasant surprise. It is an incredibly beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Shakthi. The temple is very well maintained and has a beautiful vibe and aura to it. We went here one afternoon , the temple does not open until 4 pm. Modest dress is required and you need to take your shoes and socks off, but there is shoe storage outside and safe. You are allowed to walk all round inside and take photos even though the local people are praying and paying respects a real privilege to experience, wonderful history. It is quite noisy but all part of the celebrations. Within walking distance from the MRT in little India, our hotel was within walking distance and wonderful to walk through Little India , felt safe and everyone really kind and helpful.…
