This annual performing arts festival is one of the best ways to catch stellar international acts on stage, as well alongside some of Singapore's leading arts groups over several weeks in August and September. For those who like a more intimate experience with the arts, check out the O.P.E.N. - a pre-festival segment which usually happens in June, where a season pass gives you access to artist talks, workshops and smaller-scale performances as a lead-up to the festival.

It's a Very different, very new take on Theatre. I recommend that one get the OPEN pass for only $45 and then try to go for some of the main festival's shows. I went for both and it was an experience, indeed.

I had an OPEN Pass of only $45 and with that I saw almost all the events. It was very worthwhile. I caught three performances. The concert with Xinjiang singer Perhat Khaliq, Rabih Mroue's Riding The Cloud and Ibsen's Ghosts. There were also films but...More
