What a magical way to begin our trip in Singapore! A friend and I took the class and we are both rather avid cooks who take a fair number of cooking classes around the world. This one was exceptional by all standards. Ruqxana is a true professional but beyond that - she knows and loves food, and is a knowledgable,... More

My wife and I had this cooking class arranged by Anna Ong as part of a private tour of Singapore. We took a taxi from our hotel and were met with a glass of cool water. Ruqxana is a superb cook, great teacher and fascinating conversationinalist. She has a number of very different cats which provided entertainment. If you like... More

I recently accompanied my husband on a business trip to Singapore. I wanted to take in a cooking class and found this cooking class when I googled online. I attended this class alone and loved that I had a station to myself. There were 3 in the class but the authentic outdoor kitchen can accommodate more, I think its great... More

I came to the cooking class solo and had a really great time learning and cooking authentic Singaporean cuisine. Ruqxana was very warm and inviting when we cooked in her kitchen. I thoroughly enjoyed cooking Spicy Lime Chicken, Prawn Curry and Fried Green Chilli with Green Beans. We had lunch after cooking and all the dishes tasted better than any... More

My wife and I had a great time learning about Singaporean Cuisine from Ruqxana! She's such a talented chef and really knows the ins-and-outs of it all. She's also super friendly and makes you feel at home in her kitchen. One of the participants in our class had some really strict dietary requirements and Ruqxana was able to be really... More

I recently had occasion to attend a cooking class at Cookery Magic with Ruqxana. I had last been to her Pulau Ubin class which was such a wonderful experience. We made a fish curry with roti prata - a local style pancake. The fish curry was excellent ! Ruqxana is a great teacher and makes the dish look so easy... More

I attended a lesson with one friend and had a thoroughly good time making prata, fish curry and the best dal I have ever tasted. Enjoyed it so much that I went straight home and made it again. Setting is great in a lovely outdoor kitchen.

My wife and I joined another couple and a single woman on a three-hour hands on dinner cruise. Not on a boat of course but in the suburban home of a skilled teacher. We cruised through three lovely traditional Singaporean dishes with clear instructions and just right facilities that made you feel like you were being taught by a dear... More
