What an experience, walking through Singapore, going up car parks and an apartment block to get a view from different aspects, ending with the light show at the Garden by the Bay.
I wholeheartedly recommend the tour, my guide was Jino who was always ready to give tips as to the settings to ensure you capture the scene perfectly.

I have to say the favourite part was photographing the amazing light show at Marina Bay - what a location! I wish I had more time in this beautiful city!

Jino was a great instructor! It was a great tour! He asked what I wanted to achieve during my extended tour and worked around this. He explained things and answered my questions very clearly and helped me understand some concepts and things about my camera that I had previously struggled with. He actually helped me set up some custom buttons and sort out a problem I was having. While these things may be quite basic, I have no doubt that he also has a lot to offer more advanced photographers.
I love the applied learning style. We went to some interesting places that I would not have found alone! We covered day, twighlight and night photography. My confidence and skill level really improved by the end of the tour.
The day on which my tour was scheduled was rainy and I was very appreciative that Jino reorganised his schedule and Aperture Tours allowed me to do it on another day!
He was very pleasant company and was also able to answer some questions about Singapore.
I will look forward to another tour with Jino when I return to Singapore. I’ll also be checking out Aperture tours in other places I visit.

I had the opportunity in Singapore to take two photo tours with Aperture. The contracting was easy on the web, the first allowed me to visit Chinatown, seen from buildings and places I could not have imagined. I was guided diligently to take the best photos, from the best angles. Also the night tour was very interesting, Anya took me in front of Garden Bay where at 8 pm, there is a show of light and sound, we toured the bridge, Promenade and the whole new area of the bicentennial with the maximum information, the best approaches , with first-hand information. The tour did not concentrate excessively on the technique but on the best location, the best angles and the great knowledge of the city of Anya. My best impression was the efficiency of the hiring, the punctuality and ease to connect, I will repeat.

This is my second time with Aperture Tours. First in Paris, and now in Singapore. I adored my time with Ani in Singapore. I enjoy photography as a hobby, and have taken adult education classes at home that have improved my skills. However, nothing beats the coaching provided while taking pictures so that you can truly get the picture that you want. I couldn't be happier with my time with Ani in Singapore. Because Paris went so well, I decided to book two tours in Singapore - a 3-hour daytime and 3 hour nighttime. Six hours seems like a lot of time, but the time just goes quickly. I enjoyed the assistance in improving technical aspects of my photography (e.g., shutter speed, aperture) so that my photos would improve. I felt like I had a pretty good grasp on composition - but her feedback also helped to improve this aspect. I also really enjoyed being taken to locations I wouldn't have know about to get the right shots. Even if you have strong skills, I think this aspect of the photo tour makes it worth the price. Everything she showed me and worked with me on, helped me as I continued to take pictures independently for the rest of my trip. As I continue to travel, I will look to see if an Aperture Tour is available at my locations. In fact, I'm planning on gifting a tour for my sister-in-law, if I can arrange it, while she is in Paris.

This was my second Night Photo Tour with Aperture and once again was not disappointed. Anya was amazing and we worked on bracketing, panoramas and the benefits of Aperture over Manual. We were lucky that the night was pleasant and not raining and we walked for miles. Thanks once again. Your tours are amazing. :)

Anya provided great information on our cameras as well as information on how to best frame shots and then walked us to some outstanding locations to practice. The day was wet and steamy but Anya's locations were out of the weather and provided a different and interesting perspective for our photos. Really good and enjoyable tour.

During my business trip in June (2018), I took the chance to book my very first photography tour offered by „Aperture Photo Tours“.
For both tours Anya was my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.
**Night Photography**
My goal was to explore some usual and unusual vantage points to take the “typical” Singapore photos. In addition, I wanted to improve the way of composing my photos. Overall, we explored 4 different view points, where the latter one was my favorite spot (see photo from the Marina Bay Sands).
Anya was also able to guide me in composing my photos more purposely.
**Street Photography**
I booked the Sunday morning slot, to avoid the harsch mid-day sun. The tour started close to the Chinese Market and Anya, once again, help me to understand how to compose the photos and how to develop a “story”. For those tour we explored 4 to 5 different areas.
Overall, highly recommended.
For both tours Anya was my tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Very good but several times now have not been encouraged to complete the agreed itinerary. Tour guide seemed to favour just 2 or 3 locations close by to each other where I take a photo tour in all cities i visit world wide to experience the best light and vantage points of a place, not just how to improve my photography.

We are happy to hear that you enjoyed our photographer guide, but we are sorry we did not live up to your expectations on the locations. We don't always follow the same path, preferring to go at the customer's pace, and shoot what is interesting for them. So for some, it is running from one end of the city to the other, shooting more places very quickly. While for others, that means spending less time moving from place to place, and more time shooting and learning. Make sure to let us know before the tour which style you prefer, and we can make sure to tailor the experience just for you.

I recently went on a 4 hour night photography session with Anya in Singapore.
What a great time photographing those special places that you see on the brochures and magazines and wish for. Anya was so helpful and her knowledge of the location and technique required was exceptional. I came away with some very special images.
