Best free show ever!
Nov 2019 • Solo
The bicentennial experience was one of the most immersive experience I have ever experienced! Best part that it is free! You just need to book tickets online in advance. The show is about 30mins but need to spend another 30mins for Pathfinder exhibit which is also good. There is also free shuttle bus available! Will go for another round if I can get tickets!

Worth visiting
Oct 2019 • Friends
The Bicentennial Experience at Fort Canning Centre is extended til end of the year. It is a historical celebration of Singapore's past milestones which form a well-crafted multimedia immersive experience.

Tickets are free but you need to reserve your tickets ahead as they tend to be fully booked closer to your preferred date and time.

It is a 1 hour experience and the ushers were very considerate to my elderly mother who enjoyed the show as seats and lifts were reserved for the use of the elderly.

The outdoor exhibits called the Pathfinder are worth a visit after the 1 hour show but you need to climb many steps to reach the outdoors exhibits so not recommended for those who cannot manage steps. See the Observatory especially as it has some interesting interactive IT displays.

Wear comfortable shoes and have a jacket ready as it is cold in the waiting area before the show. When booking, you choose the time slots you want and you are ushered into the show in groups.

Parking is expensive around there. $1.20 for every half hour. Prepare to spend at least 1.5 hours worth of parking to cater to the show and some walking around the outdoor exhibits.

For those who dont drive, see the shuttle bus schedule which leaves from Plaza Singapura.

Bicentennial Experience at Fort Canning Centre
Jul 2019 • Business
Celebrating 200 years, one of my colleagues suggested this event. It was amazing! Spectacular. I was able to book a free ticket a week before I left, the other days were sold out. Learning about the history of Singapore was very informative. I wish I had had more time to explore the other exhibits at Fort Canning Park as it was truly beautifully organised. Everyone was so very friendly.

Bicentennial Experience: Fabulous!
Jul 2019 • Solo
Today I went and saw the free Bicentennial Experience at the Fort Canning Centre and it was absolutely worth it! It gets booked out online days ahead so make sure you get tickets booked early. A celebration of Singapore’s history presented in an entertaining fashion. Worth the visit!

Singapore Bicentennial Experience - A Mind Blowing Exhibition
Jun 2019 • Family
Today, my family and I walked back 700yrs (stretching beyond 1819) of Singapore history at the Singapore Bicentennial Experience held at the Fort Canning Art Center. It is an exhibition to celebrate the 200yrs founding of Singapore.

The 60 mins experience was simply awesome. The narratives, visual & sound effects coupled with the interactive journey through Act 1 to 5 were informative, refreshing and mind blowing. Saying it is a World Class display is an understatement.

Every act was a different experience. My favourite was Act 1, 2 and particularly Act 5. We were provided each with an umbrella with "rain" draining down on us during Act 5, entitled "Destiny", It simulate the difficult events the nations went through. I teared and choked with emotion as a proud citizen and also with a tinge of sadness. It was this hair standing moment featuring the nation founding father, the late Mr Lee Kuan Yew leading Singapore into Independence in 1965 and also his demised in

The journey back in time has truly liven to its theme, From Singapore to Singaporean.

This exhibition is held at Fort Canning Art Center from 1 Jun 19 to 15 Sep 19.

Not Open
Feb 2019 • Couples
Unfortunately, the Arts Centre doesn’t appear to be open over the Chinese New Year period, and there was very little information as to when it is open.

Very disappointing.
