    zero hero
If you have 1) not tried VR before, 2) some friends (not more than 4 others) whom also have not, 3) $59 each and 30 mins to spend, then give zero latency a try. its 30 mins for 2 games of your collective choice. we chose to face zombies twice in zombie survival. It was a fun 1st time experience! the game was easy to get into but challenging enough. not too long until its tiring. the game master was friendly and casual. the downside was probably the price. if its cheaper, I will definitely return to try other games without hesitation.

    A Marvellous VR Experience
A phenomenal game experience for my friends and I ! We attempted their Outbreak Origins and were downright impressed ! Not only were we astounded by the ample space to roam around in, but also how attentive and helpful the staff were when either one of us nearly collided with the wall. Will certainly return and try out more of their games!
Hi ChloeVictoria226, thank you for your kind feedback! We are glad you enjoyed the game and were impressed by our product and service. We hope to see you and your friends again really soon! :)

    Super fun as always!
We played “Outbreak Origins” in Kuala Lumper a couple weeks ago and was very impressed with the quality! So Singapore, we had to check out Zero Latency @ Suntec City. The crew in was fun and super friendly! We played “Singularity.” Super tough with 2 people. So it’s best to gather a bigger group!
Hi, Thank you for visiting Zero Latency in Singapore! We are so happy to be included in your itinerary of must-dos! We will definitely inform our crew of your kind feedback and constantly work towards improving our customers' experience :) Whilst we do not have a requirement on the minimum number of players, most of our games are best played in groups of up to 8 players, otherwise a minimum of 4 players can be quite ideal too. We hope to see you again in Singapore to try out other games! :D

This is a great experience except for one truly drawback that I will elaborate on below, which was completely unexpected.

First of all, the games are well designed and thought out, they are really really fun, encourages teamwork, communication, and objective-oriented thinking, which makes this truly a great group activity suitable for most ages. Additionally, have to give a shout out to the staff who are very friendly and helpful; from the pre-event briefing throughout the actual games (we chose Singularity) till the post-game pictures and scoring, the staff are with you every step of the way and will step in and address any problems immediately with minimal disruption to your experience.

Something that is also good to note, while each session is only 30 minutes, trust me it is an exercise and there is a very high chance you will break a sweat. This brings me to the one problem I faced - which is with the actual VR equipment, and no I am not complaining at all about technical difficulties, considering the complexity of the setup it actually functions pretty well.

For anyone who owns a VR headset something you will know is that there are certain parts of the headset that are made of foam/fabric that are designed for user comfort, but have the drawback of being superbly able to absorb liquids. So if you decide to visit on a weekend where games are taking place back-to-back, be prepared that from the moment you put on the headset you will be immediately treated with a unique aromatherapy experience courtesy of the sweat left behind by the previous player. You will be truly grateful for the indoor mask mandate that is still in effect, which does help somewhat with the smell.

If you can find the courage to wrap what can best be described as someone else's post-workout towel around your hair and forehead, what awaits you next is a gross game of chance; where you are playing a dangerous game seeing if the foam has reached its maximum capacity for absorbing sweat, and if it has it means that it will start flowing down your face, and if you are very "lucky" some droplets will inevitably make their way into your eyes. Never have I ever in my life spent 15 whole minutes contemplating whether I am more concerned by (i). the stinging feeling of sweat in my eyes, or (ii). how much of that sweat is actually mine.

Once again, the only saving grace is the staffs' dedication. Given the amount of disinfectant spray, wipes, UV backlights etc... that I observed, I assume the staff is doing the best given their current resources. But still, you are paying $60 for 30 mins of entertainment - and don't get me wrong, in my opinion it is good fun and given the cost of maintaining such equipment probably a fair price. What I am trying to say is that this is a premium product, and I really expect a bit more from the cleanliness side of things.

Advice to management: I'm no expert, but from my limited experience with VR headsets, perhaps Google search "VR Silicone Cover". Hope this helps!

Overall the experience was fun.
Not so good:
1. Two of us were wearing glasses which we were not permitted to wear (we knew that in advance). However, the way to adjust focus built into the VR-goggles only partly compensated for not wearing glasses.
2. The whole setup feels somewhat dated. My Oculus Rift gives me a better 3d experience.
3. We were told that a discount for subsequent games would be open to us. This was subsequently not honored.

Booked and paid via paypal. When a I only received a paypal payment receipt in my inbox I decided to call, there was no record our booking had been confirmed and our slot was no longer available - yet the money had been deducted from my account and after 5 days of chasing for a refund with no reply I decided to leave a 1 star on here...

Booked online for 7 PM, 2 person session. Was charged via Paypal at checkout of the site. Several hours later I got an email saying that they had double booked the time slot, that my reservation had to be changed to another day and or time. Seeing as it was someone's birthday, changing the time wasn't an option for me. I requested a refund and they refused.

Positive
- I have been to Zero Latency 3 times. First with some friends for a birthday celebration in Nov 2017. Second with colleagues in Dec 2018. These 2 times were very good experiences. Staff explained gameplay clearly and helped us suit up. The experience itself was immersive. At some points I actually didn’t dare to walk across what I know is flat ground. The game master also helped to guide us during the game but did let us try to navigate ourselves first.

Negative
- I went the third time as we had some passes to use. The experience was bad.
- 2 friends experienced heavy static in their headsets during the game.
- Halfway through, the game master actually suddenly lifted up my headphones to check if I could hear her. The AV was down. Admittedly she has no choice but to do this, but it felt intrusive and I would have appreciated a note during the briefing that if needed, a game master may need to touch the equipment during gameplay.
- It got so bad that they decided to reset everything. While that meant the next run was smooth, it broke the immersive continuous experience as we already knew what to expect for the first half of it.
- My microphone went down in the second half so my friends couldn’t hear me. While I could still shoot zombies, it was irritating when I tried to talk to them but nobody could hear me. This was particularly frustrating because I know what kind of quality it should be from my first 2 good experiences.
- After the session, I went to state my position that this is not in line with the standard I know. $59 is a dear price for 30mins, especially when I know what it can be. The staff said she can’t do anything, and also said this type of technical failure happens from time to time. She eventually got me a 2-for-1 pass for a next visit. It is appreciated but still requires further cash outlay though. This type of decision is a management call. I don’t blame the counter staff, but I also don’t think this is good customer service recovery.

Hi, we appreciate your detailed feedback and review. Simply for understanding, we do upkeep our equipment, do checks, game tests and maintenance on a regular basis to ensure it delivers the quality of the technology. Unfortunately, as with all other tech and digital gears, there would be times where an unpredictable error or failure occurs ): We are sorry that it happened during your game session. However, do be assured that it is definitely not in our intentions to interrupt your game experience. At times like these, our staff will have to step in to rectify the fault in order for the game to move on with minimal disruption - it may be a reset of equipment or entire reboot of the system, depending on the situation. As your headphones are faulty and the Game Master couldnt communicate with you via the system, she had to lift your headphones to check - this is also for your safety in case you bump into the walls or players in the midst of it. Once again, we are sorry that your third experience was an upsetting one. We will take this back and review it with the team and management :) Thank you!

Was rather realistic and had fun running about and shooting zombies. Game master was attentive and instructive. Would like if bookings included student discount.

I and my colleagues came here recently to try out their games. We played Zombie Survival and Engineerium.
Zombie is easier to play as compared to Engineerium. But both games are fun.
The cost is quite on the high side though.
