Having tried the awesome experience at The Void and Zero Latency before, I would not say the same for SandBox. It's great for first-timers or players who prefer to stand at a fixed position most of the time. Price is very steep for a 15min or less game.

Always wanted to try on this VR and finally I got it. I have brought quite a no of friends and they are loving. We tried Curse of Davy Jones and Deadwood Valley. While Deadwood valley will not be that scary, but it immerse with the shooting during the whole session. Don't worry about the time cos you will be able to finish the whole session. At the start of the game, you can choose the gun that you like, they have shortgun, and one with some chainsaw and a gun etc...
I loved it when we get into the role and keep shooting. If you teammates is dead, you can revive them by touching on their vest. At the end of the game, there is a surprise where you can do a short video. The MVP will get a surprise (For you to find out) and they will send you the video for you to watch also. It is a really well worth package. The staff are also very nice and explain to you slowly to make sure you know how it worse. They also check in between the games to see if there is any technical issue before you proceed with games.
Lastly, for some tips, do wear as light as possible and also to bring some drinks. You might need it in case of any motion sickness but generally will not have an issue. We really had a great time over there and will be coming back or other games.

Had a great time doing this. Was guided by the staff throughout the experience. We chose Deadwood Mansion.
Experience lasted 30 mins or so and didn't feel giddy at all. However, voice and sound effects was a little bit muffled and we didn't know well enough until the game started and we could barely hear each other or the zombies.
Still fun and felt very realistic. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Was worried we might feel giddy but that did not happen at all. However, you may move a lot, so wear light clothing, even if the aircon is on full blast.

Tried Curse of Davy Jones with my fiancee. It was good and fun. Would definitely come back for more.
Friendly staff and patient with our needs as well. They really made the difference in our experience compared to other VR locations. Great job Sandbox team! 😁👍🏻

The VR experience was great, good clarity and realistic integration of movements. We played Deadwood Mansion and the game was decent though we missed not having any exploration and movement during the game. It was literally shooting from start to end, so not really that exciting in the end.

Played Deadwood Mansion with 4 pax!
Awesome game and super intense. Did not feel like the game was too short compared to many of the VR games out there. Highly highly recommended!!
Will definitely come back again!!

Instead of the usual VR game whereby you just stand there and shoot. This needs you to move around and solve puzzle. The graphic is realistic as well. Not to mention the friendly and patient staff here even though we were late for the booking.

I did not know that you need to make a reservation, so I went there and got empty. No problem, I asked the very unfriendly girl if I can wait if the next one does not come and I take his place. She said I can try, so I waited.
In fact, the next one didn't come, so I thought it was my time. But the b** just said: "Yes, you can play, but only if the next one comes and says to me that he gives you his card." Unbelieveable, I waited nearly half an hour.
I have seen many disgusting people in Singapore, the city where only money counts - but she was the highlight of it all.
If maybe it is of interest for Sandbox VR - it was on friday the 9th of august at 5pm. Hope you fire her.

We were running late based on the booking slot and we called to apologise - staff said to reach by 6.15pm - totally understandable as the 7pm slot was booked by other customers. Managed to reach at 6.15pm and we were immediately treated to a "take it wear it play it and get lost" attitude from ALL THE STAFF. We played some haunted mansion game and the game itself was pretty fun but we did not manage to finish the mission and was forced failed (yes, because we were late and the staff weren't happy, we didn't deserve another chance to get revived/finish the game). Overall the game experience was 3/5, the entire experience - not worth $135 for 3 pax. Bring your money to ZERO LATENCY (at Suntec City) where the staff are FRIENDLY, the game doesn't restrict you to ONE freaking spot & there's legit elements of AR - walk up "vertically" a wall & it's fun because you really get to manoeuvre around a big space. The equipment at Zero Latency is CLEAN, SMELLS GOOD (unlike Sandbox...has a musky smell) & really...the whole experience is 11/10 over there! Would i introduce my friends/colleagues to Sandbox - yes & no. Yes - if you are a noob at AR or got forced to play by your peers ; No - if you want a real good AR experience and leave happily :)
Sandbox....please send your staff for customer service training & please QC your equipment...it stinks (both hardware and software...and smell).

How old were your kids? I am thinking of taking 8-year olds for a birthday party... is that too young?

Hi isabelly, the recommended min. age is 12 years old but it is dependant on the parents! However, participants need to be at least 1.2m tall due to the equipment and tracking issues. See you soon! :)
