With a long standing track record in Asian cuisine, through our culinary education team, Coriander Leaf is aiming to act in a thought leadership capacity and be at the forefront of innovative culinary experiences and learning. Whether it is conventional cooking classes, developing new and innovative courses, expanding to the online cooking community, or delivering a distinct variety of unique and memorable cooking experiences, Coriander Leaf has always pushed the boundaries and created a reputation for culinary excellence. At our core is Asian cuisine, yet this is the tip of the iceberg in terms of the depth and breadth of culinary courses we aim to provide. We design menus that provide our guests with a strong grounding. In this way, our guests learn specific dishes as well as the insights and techniques necessary to become an insider in the cuisines of Asia! We emphasize home cooking and stick mainly to dishes that one can replicate at home. Our cooking studios are equipped with home cooking appliances reinforcing our commitment to teaching our guests something they will incorporate into their standard repertoire. Each class presents an integrated menu that can be prepared at home rather than a random selection of dishes.

We had dinner at Coriander Leaf when we saw that they also offer cooking classes. It was very spontaneous but we could join the cooking class the next day. The cook arrived a bit hungover but she was very good in explaining everything and encouraged everyone to ask questions. Even though we could see everything well, there was also a... More

While transiting in Singapore I wanted to do something different so booked onto Coriander Leaf's cooking class - in my case on Vietnamese cuisine. The course was taught by Samia, ably assisted by Eddie. I've always loved Vietnamese food, and came away from the course knowing much more about the cooking of this country, some great recipes to impress my... More

The demo class was fun, informative, and it was great being able to discuss as we went. Highly recommend the class if you are visiting and looking for something to do. The Streets of Singapore is not only useful but gives you some inside into the preparation of the local foods. You also get to actually eat full portions of... More

A fantastic cooking demo class by the amazingly fun, informative and generous chef Samia. Samia demonstrates, explains, provides colour and backround to the recipes, offers alternatives and suggestions, hints and tips and feeds you royally!

My wife and I attended the "Streets of Singapore" class and it was fantastic. We have taken cooking classes around the world and this was one of the best organized ever. The recipes were super clear and the ingredient lists were filled with stuff you can actually find in stores. I can hardly wait to get home and impress my... More

I had found Coriander Leaf on Trip advisor and the reviews were great - so persuaded my sister in law -(not a cook) to come with me for a cooking class We are very glad we went - it was a little hard to find in Clark Quay, and we were a little late. But we soon caught up. The... More

I consider myself as a serious "foodie" and took many cooking classes around the world. This was definetely one of the best. The session I took is called "Vietnamese I", is a 3-4 hour experience with Vietnamese ingredients and cooking methods, with the personal interpretation of the chef Samia Ahad. Ahad is a very impressive woman, with endless knowledge and... More

Great fun activity. Did this recently as a company team build event and by far the best one I've ever been to. Chefs from the restaurant were helpful and informative without being condescending. Really great fun and enjoyable - definitely recommend!

My friend and I did the Singapore classics cooking class. Samia was infomative and entertaining and provided a neat cookbook so that I could replicate the recipes when I got home. We met some interesting foodies during the course and it was fun to sit down at the end of the course to enjoy the food together. A must if... More

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful this experience was. Even my father who really wasn't interested in going, enjoyed the whole class and food, stating it was a highlight of our trip!! Looking forward to doing another class next trip. Thank you Samia (and Eddie) for your generosity and tips.
