The walks work on a simple principle: to bring people into places most other tours don't. Graveyards, smoke houses, wet markets, gun batteries, the city’s best-kept secret places. You name it, we have it. Since 2003, the Walks led by an eclectic bunch of researcher-guides have taken locals and travellers alike off the beaten track, and entertained with an endless store of anecdotes that reveal the true heart of the city. Pre-booking not necessary!

I booked to go on a 1/2 day tour to Changi Museum and Chapel, on the WWII Trail. Easy directions to get to the meeting point, at Exit B at Pasir Ris MRT Station. The guide for the day was Carol, and what a lovely lady she is, and so interesting and informative about the history of Singapore during WWII.... More

We did the WWII trail Through Fog and Fire with our guide Sharule. Highly, highly recommended! Really gave us a clear view of the strategies in play and why Singapore fell. The Kranji cemetery was beautiful and it was really interesting to hear the stories of a few war heroes buried there. Our guide was super knowledgable and passionate about... More

Three years ago when we were last in Singapore we took the Time of Empire Walking Tour with this company and were very impressed. This time we took the Through Fog and Fire- the Battle for Singapore 1942 tour.I have to confess a longstanding interest in the subject, since my school days here. My wife had no such interest, but... More

I attended the Sultans of Spice walk as I wanted to see a different side of Singapore. The walk was so interesting, taking in the fascinating Kampong Glam area of the city. We learnt about how the area became Arabic, how it was at the heart of the negotiations when the British bought the colony and about the history of... More

Wish I had of had more time to do some of the other tours as well. I did do the Arab Quarter tour with a positively charming guide called Wina. What a lovely , informative and very caring guide even taking everyone back to the station once the tour had ended. These tours are great for getting your bearings as... More

We've travelled all over the world, from Europe to America, Australia and Asia, taking many walking tours along the way. I have to say this tour with Nancy was one of (if not) the best we've experienced! Nancy was so insightful, very knowledgable and extremely engaging throughout the entire period of the tour. She showed us history, passion, joy, laughter,... More

Best way to truly experience Singapore. The great team of guides are very knowledgeable, friendly and share their own personal stories making this more than just another history tour. Tours meet and finish at MRT stations and the walking pace is leisurely. If you're going to be in Singapore for a few days, the 3 day and 7 day passes... More

We did two tours and both were excellent - the guides were so warm and friendly and very smart. Happy to answer lots of extra questions. 1. Changi WWII tour - very interesting, we learned so much about Singapore's WWII history. I would think that this would be interesting for everyone - not just war history buffs. Helena was a... More
