The walks work on a simple principle: to bring people into places most other tours don't. Graveyards, smoke houses, wet markets, gun batteries, the city’s best-kept secret places. You name it, we have it. Since 2003, the Walks led by an eclectic bunch of researcher-guides have taken locals and travellers alike off the beaten track, and entertained with an endless store of anecdotes that reveal the true heart of the city. Pre-booking not necessary!

Excellent way to avoid buses of crowds. This was the second tour I'd taken with Original Singapore Walks. I love the fact that the guides have been locals. It adds so much to the story. The Chinatown tour is super!

I met Helena at Bugis Station. She is an excellent guide! Helena began to point out interesting buildings as soon as the walk began. The reason I liked Helena so much, is because she spoke a lot about history - rich, human stories from years...More

It was a wonderful introduction to so many hidden aspects of colonial times which a tourist would be hard pressed to find by themselves.

While not a formal tour of the hotel we did walk through some of the public areas and hear some of the history of the hotel as part of the tour.
