Neighbourhood: Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.

- neha341130 contributionsGreat viewSo we went there as Singapore trip is not complete without it .. but trust me it can be.. It was so crowded there was no space and as seen everywhere in Singapore there was no planning or crowd management. They were giving tickets to any number of people creating a fish market and as per review and research it's the case most of times. Would suggest to book a table at CAfe la ve, you don't have to take the entry ticket of 32 SGD and can actually eat/drink something for that money. Also such a waste of paper with printing everyone's pic and trying to sell it with no luck, obviously MBS will throw all the pics which were not sold. Again a very bad practice seen all over singapore. Really bad practice from a country/orgs preaching so much about environment at every step.Visited January 2020Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 January 2020
- Darshan D39 contributionsvisit onceMarina sands bay sky park observation desk experience is awesome. i will tell you genuine experience, tickets you may buy from basement of the hotel or from Klook app., reach there around 5pm and enjoy sunset as well as night view it was so satisfying. here i will recommend if you had experienced already burj khalifa or any other high rise attractions then you can skip this. carry enough water with you bcz at that hight you will not get free water it will cost INR 400 rs. FOR 700 ml water bottle. disappointing for photography lovers is no tripods allow, camera allowed only no extra charge for camera. once you go up there then no tile limit for exit so enjoy fully and if you are hurry for next attractions then its your choice bcz down at garden by the bay there is night sound and light show.Visited February 2020Travelled as a coupleWritten 16 March 2020
- BethBristol, United Kingdom992 contributionsVery high up, stunning viewsAbout 20 Singapore dollars to visit. Exceptional staff to guide you through and up to the top. Had to have temperature checks on arrival, but that's standard in most places now what with Coronavirus. Its up on 56th floor, the lift was fun! At the top we aimed to get there for sunset as then we got the views followed by the night scene with all the pretty lights. Two sides: city view and garden view (gardens by the bay view) you could see the gardens by the bay light show from up top which was amazing! Unfortunately there was some works being done so we couldnt get to the tip of the "boat". Luckily it was very empty ?Coronavirus caused it but we were grateful. We were then shown up to level 57 where we had a drink in the bar, but we had mixed messages as to this, someone said that was for an extra ticket holder so we dont know whether the lift guy got us confused with someone else. We had a nice (but pricey) cocktail up here and as its international womens day all women got a yummy shot! Go ladies!!Visited March 2020Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 March 2020

What a great view. Visited SkyPark Observatory Deck deserve paying SGD29 to reach to level 36 and watch Singapore fill the top. Self ticket check in, to the elevator and few seconds you will be on the top. Nice view of Gardens by the bay, Singapore flyer, Merlion Park, The area of Banks I thins Central Business District or CBD. Good visit if not very sunny or raining. You can buy your picture on the top for SGD 55.

It wash raining lightly
It was a total washout— a waste of my time
And while the top bar was sheltered and dry I was not allowed in despite lots of free tables — as apparently I had omitted to reserve a table —- nobody made me aware of the fact in advance
Please please please ensure all customers are aware what is going on

When we booked our visit to Singapore, the observation deck was on our list of priorities. We had seen there was a bar on top and great views across Singapore. The tickets to go up are 32 SGD for adults, but reduced if you sign up to the Marina Bay Sands loyalty programme (which is worth doing if you are visiting the mall too).
Once up on the top deck, there are some lovely views of the Gardens by the Bay and over the skyscrapers of Singapore. A small kiosk was serving some popcorn and drinks, but the souvenir shop was closed and the bar was closed for a private event they were setting up for. We hadn’t been advised before going up that the bar was closed, but it meant that there was nowhere really to sit for everyone going up. There’s no real control of numbers (it seems) so the few benches around the side were lucky dip!
While the views were nice, other observation decks we’ve been to (particularly in New York) offer more in the way of history/tour walkthroughs, and with nothing open at the top it was hard to spend longer than 30 minutes looking at the same views, although they were great! Overall we felt it was a bit of a waste of time/money, but we appreciated the views we got at the top.

Amazing views. We booked tickets for 6.15 and stayed till the sun went down. Not overly crowded, after 5pm you have to buy time tickets and we bought ours online in advance - thankfully because we noticed when we got there there was a sign saying all tickets for rest of day sold out.

The best way to enjoy this spot is to book through Virgin active to do the 7am yoga class. It was so beautiful up there. Mixed ability class but I’d say go towards the bavknifnyou aren’t to confident. Nice instructor.

I definitely thought it was worth the time and money to go to the top deck and get a stunning view of Singapore. It was a beautiful day when we went up and the views and pictures we took came out awesome. It gave us a great perspective of the cutie and where everything was from above. We also enjoyed frozen Singapore Slings at the top while we enjoyed the view.

Hi, thinking of booking tickets online a couple of weeks in advance as we will be there in sept at time of car race so expect it to be busy. But am worried that you have to pick a nominated time ie 1pm, 3pm - what happens if you turn up early or later, do they still regard these as booked tickets and allow you to skip the booking queue? Hard to stick to a schedule when sightseeing. I know it is timed bookings after 5 but am interested in earlier.

in my case I had reserved (the day before) the tickets for a time slot BEFORE 5pm but eventually the etickets reported 11am-5pm as validity. I wanted to go there at 15 but apparently any time would have been fine between 11am and 5pm. But yes, maybe if there are car races they might be stricter with the time slots. And about being late or early, it will also depend HOW late/early you're going to be; surely 10 minutes won't be a problem. Just make sure you are around the Skypark and not on the other side of the Marina.

There was no time limit as to how long you can stay. We saw people that had been there most all evening and some were in line to leave right after coming up. Take your time and enjoy the view!

Bonjour à tous, faut-il réserver à l’avance pour monter et boire un verre par exemple ? ou pas de souci à le faire le moment même ?

I think you are asking does it need booked in advance, like a lot of things in Singapore you do need to buy the tickets electronically to get a bar code. We did book the tickets onthe day though, seem to remember you booked for a time range which might have been more to do with COVID regulations, they do shut for lightning as well for safety reasons

I believe the Gardens are a fair little walk from the hotel I seem to remember walking across bridges. We did it at night, very pretty walk.

I booked via TripAdvisor and have received my confirmation. The attachment has a link called GET TICKET, when this opens it says in red THIS IS NOT YOUR ENTRY TICKET. How do I obtain this?
In addition I bought as a gift for my parents on my personal credit card, the ID which they present will differ from my card details, is this likely to be an issue?

When you get to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, there is a ticket office and machines for you to collect or purchase tickets. Once purchased you get into the lifts and go up 56 floors to the observation deck/57 doors to the restaurant/bar. Fantastic experience

If wanting to visit the rooftop bar at Marina Bay Sands for a cocktail and to look at the view over Singapore, is there a cost to enter the bar.
Also does the bar have another name or is it just called The Rooftop Bar?
Thanks

When we buy ticket to Marina Bay Sands skypark, can we go to the swimming pool? Do we have to pay more extra to go to the pool or is it only allowed for hotel guests only?

Hotel guests only. You can go up and eat drink at the sky bar without paying a fee, rather than buying tickets for the skypark.
