Neighbourhood: Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.

    A must do once
A visit is worthwhile for good views from 56 floors up. The lift is speedy, you hardly feel it move. They do not over pack the lift which is great after entering from the heat of Singapore. We just took in the views but there is a cafe/bar for refreshments. You only gain ask to one end of the terrace as the there'd is exclusively for clients staying within the hotel.

    Fantastic views
Another must visit spot in Singapore. Fabulous views across Singapore. Great spot to take photos. Can be very hot and no shelter so would recommend taking a hat or umbrella for shade.

    Tacky but fabulous
Only went as an evening visitor to the Skydeck (you need advance tickets to do this) as part of an organised tour, so not as a resident. It's a loaded experience - photos as you go in, the high speed lift, the drink-token for a beer or a frozen slushie Singapore Sling. All a bit tacky. But the experience up on the 54th floor, out in the open, with 360 degree views over Singapore, watching the night fall and the lights come on is really something. Fabulous photos, fabulous experience. It's such an iconic building. Well recommended.

    Best view in Singapore
You can see the Mariner Bay Sands Observation Deck from most places in Singapore and so it is an absolute must to go up there and drink in the views. There is limited capacity each day so I would advise to book up in advance to avoid disappointment. We went shortly before sunset to watch the sun set over Singapore and see the lights of the city come on. The views are stunning and it was worth every penny of the entrance fee. You can also get a great view of the light show at the Gardens by the Bay which happens twice a night. Don't miss out on this experience.

    Unimaginable Singapore
Yes, this place makes you speechless. It shows you the complete Bay area in 360 degree circle. This is main area of Singapore with all sky scapers around to make it look more beautiful. Finance hub, Merlin, Garden by the bay, Formula race area etc all can be seen from here. I would suggest you to vidit this place post 5. this will avoid the heat & also give you beautiful light view. Tickets can be bought as on combo with Garden by the Bay. Klook is a good option to buy tickets. It's located in Tower 3. Thus post this u need to head to Tower 2 to go to the Garden by the bay or vice versa.

    Awesome views
I definitely thought it was worth the time and money to go to the top deck and get a stunning view of Singapore. It was a beautiful day when we went up and the views and pictures we took came out awesome. It gave us a great perspective of the cutie and where everything was from above. We also enjoyed frozen Singapore Slings at the top while we enjoyed the view.

The best way to enjoy this spot is to book through Virgin active to do the 7am yoga class. It was so beautiful up there. Mixed ability class but I’d say go towards the bavknifnyou aren’t to confident. Nice instructor.

    Stunning!
Amazing views. We booked tickets for 6.15 and stayed till the sun went down. Not overly crowded, after 5pm you have to buy time tickets and we bought ours online in advance - thankfully because we noticed when we got there there was a sign saying all tickets for rest of day sold out.

What a great view. Visited SkyPark Observatory Deck deserve paying SGD29 to reach to level 36 and watch Singapore fill the top. Self ticket check in, to the elevator and few seconds you will be on the top. Nice view of Gardens by the bay, Singapore flyer, Merlion Park, The area of Banks I thins Central Business District or CBD. Good visit if not very sunny or raining. You can buy your picture on the top for SGD 55.

Good view of Singapore at nights. We went at 7 .00 but could have left after 5 minutes.
Saw light show in distance.
Drinks were expensive.

We were in Singapore on the cruise ship QM2 for our 25th wedding anniversary we booked the Sunset champagne and chocolates package at the top of the sky deck and it was a super experience for around 2hrs during the sunset and light shows visible from the top. With this package you get your own table in a quiet roped off section of the sky deck and are made to feel special by the very attentive staff. Your experience includes VIP no Q lift access up and down a guided tour around the deck as well as a glass of champagne and delicious chocs. A photographer captures some pictures for your evening which are developed and presented to you as you leave ( all included in the price) Book ahead this is a limited offering each night and well worth the cost. We thought all the staff were excellent but in particular Adam, Faith, Emily and Angel made our evening special…Thank you.

Avoid queuing by booking an early time slot online, such as when it opens. Check the weather forecast beforehand as the temple may close in bad weather. Enjoy stunning views of the entire city and the ships in the bay from this vantage point.

We really enjoyed our time on the top deck. You can see most of Singapore from here. Try and plan on a clear day if you can. We thought the trip to the top was well worth it. You can only see a small sliver of the pool. If you are going to see a view of the pool you may be disappointed. I will enclose pictures of the view. Amazing to see the bay full of boats.

Located in the heart of the Marina Bay area, in the Marina Sands Hotel, is the open air observation deck. Ride the 60 second elevator to the 57th story deck for a 180 degree view of Singapore landscape and the Marina area. views of the Gardens by the Bay, Supertree Grove, and Esplanade abound. You also glimmer of a view if the infinity pool above the first two towers. Expect large crowds on the weekends. Evening views are also available. A fancy restarant is also located at the top. Definitely a must do in Singapore.

Bought tickets from the official website for 3pm, arrived at the entrance a few minutes after 3pm and came across a huge queue. Last entry for off-peak ticket holders was at 4pm. The queue was moving fast but still it was too long and we only managed to get in the lobby area at exactly 4pm. We arrived at the observation deck at 4:25pm (there was another queue inside for the lift) and we only had 20 minutes there before they started emptying the deck to prepare it for peak-hour ticket holders (at least they allowed us a few extra minutes instead of closing at 4:30pm like they said they would do).

The view was nice - at least from the side that was in the shade but we felt that we were mistreated. It was very unprofessional of them to not honour their timeslots and oversell tickets.

Also, the tickets included a digital photo - we were a group of four - I would expect something more than a click - maybe a couple of poses as in theory we were entitled to four free photos and not just one.

To top it all, on our way down they were trying to squeeze too many people in the lift (but no they weren’t doing this for the way up).

On the website, they mention that each visit takes approximately 45 minutes so we planned our next activity 1.5 hours after (to allow for delays) but apparently even that wasn’t enough and we were an hour late there (luckily they still let us in). They forgot to mention the 1-hour+ long queue you have to wait to go to the observatory even when you purchase a timed-ticket.

Views are amazing but do not fall for the photos scam. You will not retrieve the photos no matter how you try and are supposedly included in the ticket price.
So $75 wasted x how many others every day???

Spectacular views of Marina Bay and Gardens By The Bay from the top. Also great views of all the skyscrapers. Check opening times before you go as we got there too early and it didn't open until 11am
