I was there at day light and evening.
Big mall and many food options, nice walk options at day time. At the evening the light show on/at the 3 linked towers should be spectacular +/- 20h00 and +/- 21h30. sadly none of them ran

The Marina Bay's only purpose to make small town boy like me to feel even smaller. Describing it as breath taking, jaw dropping or simply amazing is still an understatement. This is the place for glitzy high fliers to burn their easy earned cash and show off their jet set lifestyle but there's also plenty for us commoners to admire it from ground level promenade too.

The whole area has been built on reclaimed land but the most important part is the aesthetics that blows our tiny average minds. From planning to design, layout, facilities, maintenance and amount of attractions provided here feels like a overkill sometimes.

The laser lightshow alone is enough to keep me occupied for hours but then there's boat ride, giant ferris wheel, science museum, Gardens by the Bay, Merlion Park, sculptures, cafés, restaurants, five star hotels, shopping malls and of course in the centre of it all the iconic Sands.

I've never had so many wow moments in one day.

As you approach the waterfront you get glimpses of the Marina Bay Sands through the gaps in the buildings, it's a like the eventual vista teases you. Once you get to the waterfront the majesty of the Sands lies in front of you. to the right is the Fullerton Hotel, take a walk up the river bank and see the various bronze statues on the way up to Clarke Quay

The Waterfront Promenade is a really nice place to go for a walk in Singapore, especially at night time. The Merlion statue with Marina Bay Sands just across the water makes for some great photos. Plus, there are plenty of bar and dining options in the area.

The best time to walk here is late afternoon into early evening. You'd be able to see the lights at night and if you're lucky, you can also see the laser display from MBS. Sit by the river, relax and just enjoy the moment with your loved one or family.

‘‘Twas a little crowded but lots of fun and lots to see. The Merlion was spectacular, get too close tho and you get wet. You get a great view of the Marina Bay Sands. If you’re creative you can take a photo of someone holding up the ship.
All in all a great view making the walk worth it. Consider getting there by walking along the River. We started at the Clark Quay and took our time.

In the evenings there is a light show, 8 and 9pm. Laser lights and projections to music.
Best place to set is between Apple store and Louis V store. Be warned that there is water spray and you get wet if you are on the lower promenade.
It is very busy at the weekends with locals. We watched on a Saturday and it was packed. So we came back and watched on the Monday and it was a lots less crowded - mainly tourists.
There are some good bars along here as well.
Lit up so easy to walk around and feel safe late at night.

As Singaporeans, we watched our National Day Parade on TV or be physically present at the Padang site to feel the atmosphere of the national day celebration and enjoy being proud as one united people.

However, I was surprised by the enormous crowd turn-out at the Waterfront Promenade to witness the pyrotechnic firework display and enjoy the calm and peaceful ambience at this glamourous, neon lit and colourful waterfront bay. When night sets in, the bay surrounded by the many spectacular and enormous skyscrapers is so colourful, wonderful and beautiful.

I walked my way from the Fullerton Hotel to NTUC building and then to Marina Bay Sands. Every inch of the promenade was occupied and the passage way was narrow and congested. I was sandwiched by the throngs of crowd and from their demeanour and language spoken, I was certain they are foreign tourists coming here to have a glimpse of our national day celebrations and appreciate the beautiful skyline of this magnificent promenade.

This is truly my home, the place where I belong. I feel proud to be part of this nation where so many envied and hope to see. I found meaning in my work and the role I play to make this nation safe and secure for the world to see, a nation strong and free.

Entire promenade lined with greenery , manicured lawns or green patch , close attention has been paid for beauty, cleanliness and aesthetics. Nice place for morning walk or evening stroll ( day time can get quite hot). Its a must do to experience the part of singapore which will give you feeling of space and expanse.

The waterfront promenade is a great place to spend as much time as you want it can get busy at times but is open days and night, the shopping centre has high end shops but a nice stroll around to get reprieve from the heat and sometime to eat at the food court. Easy to access by the MTR.
Views from Marina Sands were amazing if you have the right weather which we did.
