We had four nights at the Park Regis which is across from Clarke Quay. The area is vibrant with loads of bars and restaurants which are expensive. Gr8 atmosphere and from here you can jump on a bum boat out to the marina. If you want an inexpensive meal try China town just down the road and choose wherever it... More

Had a quick walk this evening there and enjoyed the walk. How smart it was classified in colors. We are going back again for a longer walk and shopping

This mall by the river is pretty lousy on the shopping front. There are however many food options, though most are ordinary. Santouka is good if you like ramen. There is no taxi stand either

After strolling along Clarke quay, this is a good place to walk into to have a break with air conditioning. A lot of eateries inside the mall and it's connected to the train station.

We started a months holiday with 3 days in Singapore and stayed in Chinatown . We finished with 2 days in Clarke quay. It is fabulous . It's clean and interesting and vibrant. You can go from olde worlde to ultra modern in a matter of meters . They are side by side but neither look out of place. We... More

You should be here in the evening, have some food and drink in one of those restaurants on the river side. There is a big mall too if you want to do some shopping. Boat cruises will take you through the river and may be enjoyed if you like river cruises.

Staying in The Quays

Neighbourhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
