I joined Sarah’s tour of the UOB Southeast Asia Gallery and learned so much from her of the art scene in the region. She is very knowledgeable and shared alot during the tour. But she kept it light and for an art novice like me, it was very easy to follow. I would highly recommend anyone interested in SEA art to join Sarah’s art tour.

Our private tour with Sarah in the National Gallery was wonderful. Sarah was very knowledgeable about Southeast Asian art, and especially Singaporean art, culture and history. She made us feel comfortable and brought a positive attitude to her tour. We were especially impressed by the building itself - the National Gallery was newly opened and completely redesigned a few years ago, and it was very interesting to hear the story from Sarah. A highlight of our short stay in Singapore!

I was at the National Gallery of Singapore to attend the special exhibition by Singtel. The staff told me about the various guided tours of the Gallery, So I went and was delighted to meet Sarah. She is the most interesting, knowledgeable and extremely passionate guide I have ever met!

She painstakingly researched fresh information about the topic that was central to the tour,. I was so impressed that I went and organised a private tour of the gallery with her for my friends and family. I would vote for her;: The best docent in the Gallery

Sarah will also be guiding tours at the National Gallery for the Singapore Biennale. Check this out and you too will be delighted by her professional guidance at the Gallery.

Singapore is a multicultural city which has grown in the past few years to becoming a city of extraordinary mix featuring vacation destination, foodie heaven, architectural innovation and living its history.

Sarah was our guide and she today focused on old and new Jewish life in Singapore. Most don’t know that for example Jewish life began in the early 1800s, as Iraqi Sephardic came as traders. First textiles and foods as well as money changers and shipping.

The first synagogue was started in 1841 and it still remains today. Sarah showed us a museum, a great deal of history there and a legacy of leaders through 200 plus years
Sarah explained the building and legacy for the community

Today while total community is small, there is a wonderful store for food and wine as well as Australian meats.

We drove around and learn where the first Iraqis settled and how they moved over the years. There were difficult times during WW11
However the community survived.

We learned so much in the three hour tour I can highly recommend it to allow

Sarah was a wonderful guide! I traveled to Singapore with girlfriends and we had just a day to see this city. Sarah shared her vast knowledge about this fabulous city teaching us about the history, culture, markets and street art. She also taught us how to navigate it like locals. Highly recommend!!!

Sarah has this incredible ability to paint a mental picture through her storytelling. Through her lens you are literally transported to the scene. The Jewish Heritage tour is a must for anyone wanting to explore the real Singapore - Singapore is Singapore because as a prominent trading port there was a convergence of many cultures and the Jewish settlers are an significant part of Singapore's history. Sarah is an incredible guide - she is knowledgeable, patient, and energetic.

This was a fascinating tour - Sarah is so knowledgeable and made the history come to life. Her personal heritage and connections gave us the opportunity to see inside a private religious community. Visiting the mini supermarket and kosher restaurant inside the synagogue complex was a real bonus. Highly recommended!

Sarah is knowledgeable and engaging. I don’t think we could have asked for more in a guide to the Jewish sites, and the Jewish history of Singapore. Sarah has amazing personal connections to the Jewish community and its leadership and gives a true ‘insider’s’ perspective. The tour was easy to arrange and thoroughly worthwhile. Worldly and wise, Sarah is a treasure to her community, and we are walking away with a profoundly deeper understanding of it.
