Top ways to experience ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands and nearby attractions

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.

    Interesting exhibitions
If you're a curious person and a futurist, this is the museum for you! they have interesting seasonal exhbitions such as future world and Wind Walkers: Theo Jansen's Strandbeest. I occasionally check their site to see what they have. they also have bundles where you go for 2 exhibitions or more and get it cheaper. great view by the bay as well.

    More for children than adults
First of all you need to decide what you want to see when buying a ticket. It's not just a ticket for a museum. This place is split into different galleries with different exhibits and you need to choose which ones to see. There are lots of interesting interactive displays but they are mostly taken up by children and as an adult you can't get in to many of them. At one point I started to worry that it was actually a kids attraction and I'd come by mistake so I left a couple of the galleries without seeing much at all. As a solo adult or couple I wouldn't bother with this one unless you have time to kill but if you have inquisitive youngsters then I think they'd love this.

Amazing and fun experience at Future World!
We attempted to visited the Art Science Museum on a rainy day in the early afternoon to find a sign at the entrance saying all tickets were sold out for the day for Future Worlds (understandable given the weather). However I hopped onto their website and found availability for 5:15pm so purchased easily online. When we returned around 5pm we could enter the exhibition immediately. And oh boy, a special treat for the senses!!! Very clever interactive displays, a delight to observe and where available, participate. We were “big kids” following our coloured sea creatures on screen and racing across the coloured hovering steps. The final LED room was amazing to walk through and then watch the changing display. If you have time I would definitely recommend the opportunity to visit (you can prebook online).

We got tickets for all three of the exhibits. We really enjoyed the teo downstairs one. I love how interactive it was.. I definitely spent longer on some things than I intended.

The NFT to AI exhibit was least impressive to me probably because I dont have a strong passion for it. First time for me to be looking at AI art in a museum/gallery setting though which is wild.

We had food at the cafe and it was okay for a western cafe but it was overpriced.

Lots of empty space in exhibit areas. Too expensive. Third floor exhibit a waste. Would definitely pass on this & check out Asian Civilization Museum.

A friend had suggested visiting Marina Bay, but we didn't fancy any of the restaurants there as they weren't that different from places we could go to at home. So the museum gave us a good excuse to take the trip (and wander through the mall).

There were a selection of exhibitions, from which we picked 'Future World', which kept us entertained for an hour or so with various interactive art exhibits.

The place mesmerizes you from outside, what an architectural marvel it is! Inside its worth visiting for good collection of art at one side and futuristic science on the other. Something is there for all the groups. Shall go if staying for a longer period.

Worst service ever I’ve seen in Singapore, we’ve misunderstood the Priority line too small text so we didn’t know and still queue as many other people same line, but others have no one yell only us had been yelled and impolite to customers by the Guy in the Photo. I thought Singapore is all nice people in Service but some how still have impolite and no respect with Customers like this guy, so we decided not go and never go here this time becaused this bad guy!!!

we have 3 teenagers, 14, 16 and 18 and they loved it.
I loved it.

the film up on the 4th floor was a bit long (that should perhaps be advertised outside) but everything else was wonderfully interactive and a sensory delight.

Terrible value. A $30 ticket admitted me to only one exhibition. Most museums have a constant collection that is free to view. Not this one. I felt ripped off.
