About
"Rarely seen without a bustling crowd of customers, Mustafa Centre is set in the Little India district. A cult favourite in the Singaporean shopping scene, it’s the best place to go if you’re after a bargain or enjoy shopping late into the twilight hours. Mustafa may not be as fancy as some of Singapore’s other malls, but it has a great range of items, and good prices to match. Here, you’ll get a bargain on just about everything, from clothes, perfume, souvenirs, electronics, makeup, confectionery and even food and groceries. "

With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.

So much stuff packed into a huge department store. Nothing posh about this place - takes you back in time. You’ve got to visit! No windows anywhere, so I felt claustrophobic - especially as the store is jammed pack with goods and people after a bargain.

I think the staff here must be bonused on how rude they can be to customers. I went shopping there this morning with my elderly mum and it was awful. Never again

The place is inexpensive and has lot of options. Though the electronics don't have a long shelf life so I have heard. Run by Indian and has lots of them.

Local Singaporeans call this centre "all-inclusive" as it sells gadgets, skincare, clothes and even gold. There is a wide variety of items. Be prepared for bargains and cramped aisles.

Great place to get anything you need or don't need. Shopping, shopping and more shopping. It's an experience and you can really get into the feel of being part of the local scene. Will definitely go back there.

Great place to buy souvenirs and clothes. Also a good place to buy snacks!
Located in little India, this place has everything. A real one stop shop.

I had one of the most terrible experience in Mustafa Center last week. The manager of the Jewellery department shouted and intidimated me when we went there to inquire about the gold sale. All merely for asking to see the manager. As I know that the manager in charge is the one who handles old gold sales. He did not even have the courtesy to introduce himself as the manager from the start until much later when he started shouting. He even bellowed that he won't sell to a customer like me, the whole department staff and customers were looking at us, so embarrassing and uncalled for. Despite me telling him to return my helpers gold, he continued holding on to it a little longer and shouting, "What do you want now!".

It was a distressful incident which will indeed prevent me from going back there. I emailed and spoke to the management a few days ago, but till date no response or action.

At this rate, I will certainly not recommend any of my friends of family to go to the jewellery section.

I understand that they were spoken to about density limits during covid. Back to normal now.

If you want it, they have it. Food, clothes , luggage, shoes, pretty much everything.

Don't expect civility. More like measured indifference.

Well worth a visit though, and it's air conditioned

Busting around 8:00pm. Toilets are a disgrace. Dispensers ripped form the wall. Urine everywhere. And this was the Gents.
