"Situated in the Civic District close to historic and tourist sites,...

"Situated in the Civic District close to historic and tourist sites, Raffles City Shopping Centre is a haven for consumers looking for luxury items. Built on the site of a former school (Raffles Institution), Raffles City is downtown shopping at its finest. The mall has a number of luxury and designer stores such as Omega, Thomas Sabo, Cortefiel and Tommy Hilfiger, among others.

Here, you’ll also find big department stores like Marks & Spencer and Robinsons, and fashion chains like Topshop, River Island and Skyla. In fact, Raffles City covers most shopping bases with fashion, books, music, sports, toys, eyewear and beauty all available above the City Hall MRT station, which makes getting here all the more convenient. The Raffles City shopping mall is mostly filled with high end designer labels. When you get to the basement of the mall, it is filled with supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and convenience stores. As a guest of the nearby Swissotel, having these eating options was really beneficial to my stay.

Not the best of shopping malls but does have a small number of up market chains. Also a M&S which does have a food offering including a reasonable selection of their wines.

I was dragged in here reluctantly by the good wife, as we were staying next door at the Fairmont Hotel. The mall is multi level and except for the restaraunt/ food court area, seemed up Market to me. Hint: The fountain at the lower area allows old guys to sit and people watch!

We stumbled on this indoor and lower level mall (actually three levels of mall). We found lots of souvenirs and lots of places to eat.

We forgot to pack the Aussie travellers essential item Vegemite. We search for ages and then found it in Raffles City Market Place in the Raffles City shopping centre. What a gem of a supermarket. They have got everything you could want food and drinks wise. If you like Japanese food this is the place to go. We bought some... More

Average mall with average shops but we went 3 times just for the ice cream!! Wide variety of food available and a pharmacy which there are not as many of in Singapore - bear in mind you need your passport for some items e.g. naproxen

Just another shopping mall, not the really special one in this case if you compared with others in Singapore. It has everything but the atmosphere is bit cool and prices are pretty high. Easy to reach with the MRT, has a stop here. It is, as many other malls, connected to the Fairmont hotel which is very nice. A few... More

There are eateries on the lower ground floor plus some restaurants, however my favourite is the food court on level 3. Lots of different styles of local food. This is my go to place to eat - excellent quality and very reasonably priced. rice, vegetables, soup and chicken (big tray of food) $6.90 Singapore.

We were staying at the Carlton Hotel across the road so Raffles City was our 2nd home. Lots of shops and things to see... the MRT was right underneath the mall so we seemed to spend most of our time in Singapore going through here! Lots of fond memories.
