The Downtown Esat shooping mall has become very different from past. After the successful renovation of E!hub, D'Resort has added great accomodation options for people who like resort style living. New wing opens with eateries. Also drop-off point. However, the place is still undergoing renovation. can be difficult to navigate around.

MacDonald is closed for now as it undergoing renovation. You do have subway and KFC still operating. Pretty popular with families. Parking is ample as there are plenty of parking lots opposite downtown east at the Public carpark or within downtown east itself.

This is basically the entertainment district downtown. From bowling to movies to arcade gaming, I am sure there is something for you to do!! This is the entertainment central in the East of Singapore. The complex has casual eateries, games arcade, Ferris wheel and an indoor aye ground for children. Downtown East is run by NTUC for its members and guests. There are wide range of entertainment options at affordable prices. We visited during the week and it was pretty quite. No long q's to stand in and my 7yr old son had endless fun sliding as did I. Many eateries ranging from restaurant type , cafe to foodcourt type food. Wide variety of local n international cuisine. Ntuc resort is next door. A fun place for family to spend a weekend. Can be quite crowfed on weekends. A huge Ntuc supermart is house within the mall.
