There are no shortage of water play areas and swimming pools in Singapore, but few come at such a bargain. For less than $2 (and less than $1 for children), visitors can choose to dive into the wave pool, cruise down the lazy river, conquer the water slides, relax in the whirlpool or watch the little ones splash down at the Kiddy Fun Station. Bring your own picnic to make a day of it. (NOTE: Jurong East Swimming Complex will be closed March 12, 2012, to July 12, 2012, for renovations.)

My wife, 5 years old daughter and I visited, for the first time, Jurong east sports complex on Good Friday (public holiday). When we took cab from outside Jurong East MRT about 7pm, the driver warned us that perhaps the sports is closed. So I made a call there to confirm that the complex is open till 9pm. For those... We had a 8 hour stop over so chose to grab a taxi and visit rather than sit around an airport. Very cheap to enter. We had no singapore money so the most lovely taxi driver gave us some. When we entered we realised why. You enter with a vending machine, no staff Problem 2. I counted around 20 tires/... More

Cheap. $2 for adults and $1 for kids. Prices vary depending on time of week and residency. Entering the facility is confusing. It's self-service, and there are three options - each with its own machine and barrier gate. Cash, MRT card, or an ActiveSG card (there's an office with staff next to the gates for getting one of those). We... More

We arrived here on Thursday early afternoon and were pleasantly surprised by how empty it was. we had so much fun!. There the wavy pool and has artificial waves turned on for about 15 minutes every hour on the hour. The lazy river that is really cool and if you rent the float, you can literally spend all afternoon just... More

Visited last weekend. Located in West Singapore, near Chinese Gardens MRT. May not be the ideal place for tourists, who have limited time on hand. But great for locals. Some good slides and a wave pool. Also has a few kiddies pools. Not expensive.

Defintiely a great place to have fun in the waters at surprisingly low price. The slides are still quite thrilling, floats go as cheap as $5 etc. There is a cafeteria btw. A gym on top as well at a separate price. The floating river is great as well but the more entertaining one is the wave pool! The excitement... More

A fine swimming pool especially for those who love water slides. It's pretty accessible and there are a number of pools catered to various age groups. Have a good splash!

Considering with the very low price, only 2 SGD. You can pay by using your EZ link card (MRT card) This pool complex is quite satisfying with numbers of features. They have river pool (pool with current), small pool for kids, olympic swimming pool, water slide pool, and the wave pool. The river pool is quite a long track with... More

My 11 year old son and I had a great time at the Jurong East Swimming Complex. Entry is approx. $2 SG per person and $5 SG for a float. We spent about 4 hours there. The lay river is great with or without the float and the water slides were long enough for me ! (depends on expectations I... More
