The park connector is well paved and good for jogging, walking and cycling. It can be quite hot on sunny day as they have no shade. This is my favorite spot for jogging.

We exited from Paya Lebar MRT Station exit D and started our walk at the Geylang Park Connector( 3.68 km long) which runs beside the Geylang River. This park connector connects to the Garden by the Bay (East) seamlessly via the Tanjong Rhu Park Connector. After Old Airport Road, the park connector is fairly wide and there are many trees and plants beside it. After crossing the overhead bridge at Mountbatten Road, we reached the loveliest stretch of the park connector. We savoured the calm and soothing breeze under the shade of the numerous Rain trees. We reached the Tanjong Rhu Suspension Footbridge with a nearby Look Out Tower. A good refreshment stop would be the Jln Batu Food Centre at Blk 4A of Tanjong Rhu HDB estate.
