We were looking forward to a couple of beers and some decent music but the night we visited there was some form of meeting happening so we left after one drink deeply disappointed

Well, if you are a Metal Head visiting Singapore, I’m afraid that your choices of specific drinking establishments are rather slim. The Flying V is about as good as it gets; it’s certainly got the Metal Vibe about the place, Rock music blasting out as you would expect, & some Friendly Customers to boot. They sell imported Trooper Beer, but I drank some Lager they sold in (2 Pint) Steins for 23 Bucks, which isn’t bad for Singapore prices. If you are hungry, they do some pretty good Pizzas as well. It’s in The Adelphi Mall, & a bit of a pain to find, so note the Unit Number shown in the address, or else you will get lost in the eternal Maze – just follow the music.
