I purchased quite a few perfume oils from here whilst recently in Singapore. Once you walk in the store it’s very exciting to start smelling the different fragrances and select which ones you want to buy. You can purchase them in different size roll on bottles and all sizes are very reasonably priced. They have feminine, masculine, oriental, and traditional scents.

My favourite is Pretty… it reminds me of a fragrance I used to wear many years ago (but unfortunately I can’t remember what that fragrance was).

If you loved The Body Shop Dewberry, Peach, and White Musk fragrance oils, Jamal Kazura has some excellent perfumes that smell exactly the same.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, this was my favourite store in Singapore.

I look forward to visiting the staff and store again when I’m next in Singapore.

Had the privilege of interviewing the owner of Jamal Kazura Aromatics, and his son's shop, Sifr Aromatics, previously. The staff were very patient in explaining the hard work that goes into customising scents and why they continue to do so. Wonderful attars (itrs) and other scents - ranging from strong musks to light fruity notes available. The place will be sure to dazzle you once you step in.

Visited this wonderful place during my previous stay in Singapore, now returned to buy more of the magnificent oil-based perfumes for me and some friends. I fell in love with * Galaxy* and so do my friends. Helpful staff and very beautiful vials as well. As we purchased a lot we were given large samples and a beautiful vial complementary

There are actually 2 shops - the one in North Bridge Road (owned by the father), and the one at 42 Arab Street (owned by the son). They are both fantastic places to visit if you like perfume. Whilst the father's shop has home made blends and is quite traditional, the shop in Arab Street is more modern. You are able to create your own blend in the Arab Street shop, but need to book an appointment, as it can take up to 2 hours to create the 'perfect' blend! I found the staff in both shops very polite and eager to help/answer stupid questions! Definitely worth a visit.

I love anything perfume-my, so to me this shop is a great place to visit when i traveled to Singapore. Lots of original blends to choose from and the price is very reasonable.

The two perfume oils i bought home are Sandal and Shabnam. Sandal smells fresh and deep like newly-shaved sandalwood chips, and Shabnam is mystifying with its florals and balsams. They are really made of good quality ingredients.

The only downside is that the shopkeeper is not entirely friendly. He does allow you to sniff around, yes, but at the same time he seems to extends his service only to those he thinks would spend money.

Would definitely visit again if had the chance.

Jamal Kazura is NOT closed. I was there today. There are a few locations and the one directly by the mosque has limited hours. The one on Bagdad Street is open and I was fortunate enough to meet the King of Fragrance. What a genuinely nice person and the shop is a very unique place with many fragrances and colored glass containers to choose from. It's a great stop in the Arab district and it smells fantastic in there.

I recently visited this shop with my daughter and was blown away with the friendly service and amazing products. We stayed in the shop for ages, sampling all the different perfumes. The secret ingredients are a family tradition that have been passed down through the generations. I would highly recommend you visit this shop if you like perfume and want a different experience. You can find them in the Arab Quarter. We got a taxi there and found it easy to get to. I will definitely be going back when I visit Singapore again.

I've now visited Jamal Kazura twice, and both visits have produced the most popular souvenirs and most enjoyable self-indulgent gifts from my trips. I LOVE the process of assembling my own fragrance, cloning a new perfume for my mom, or buying a decorative vial for a souvenir. It's a beautiful shop, the staff is incredibly helpful, and the fragrances are lovely. Will always return for a refill when I visit Singapore!

When you shop in this store you are reminded what good customer service is all about. The salesman was infinitely patient with my children ( who wanted to smell every fragrance in the store), and was very attentive without being overbearing or pushy. I purchased some lovely fragrances and bottles while there and will visit again the next time I'm in Singapore. I'll just add that when I visit perfume stores in Australia I always end up with a headache, but because these fragrances contain no alcohol this didn't happen when I was shopping here.
