Singapore Duck Tour

62 reviews
Explore Singapore on a 1-hour duck tour, known officially as DUCKtours®, which allows you to see city sights by both land and water. On ‘the duck,’ an amphibious military vehicle that was refurbished from World War II, you’ll drive around the city to check out attractions like the Fountain of Wealth and Singapore Flyer. Then hit the water to cruise past landmarks like the Merlion, Singapore’s famous statue that sits where the Singapore River meets Marina Bay. Audio commentary is included.

Very powerful temple. Huge energies and everybody is welcome. Read the horoscopes on the board to the left of the main entrance ;)

Came across this Buddhist temple because I was staying across the road at hotel Yan. It's not the most ornate or frequented Buddhist temple I've seen, but if you are in the area it's worth a visit if only for the calming atmosphere inside.

An oasis. There are simple step by step signages to guide newcomers on what to do at the temple. Turning the giant prayer wheel makes one feel at peace. Hope to visit again to understand more about Tibetan Buddhism.

The main Shakyamuni Buddha statue is designed as the same as the one in the historic Jokhang temple in Lhasa, Tibet.... which was made during Buddha's lifetime. So if you are wondering how Shakyamuni Buddha looked like back in ancient India, go and have a look. Saw rare holy relics at the temple display area too. Wonderful place with Tibetan + Chinese spiritual and culture + architecture. If you're a fan of Tibet, Mongolia, Nepal , Bhutan etc, don't miss this place. Don't know how to describe ... but the energy / vibes of this place is good/uplifting. Love that it's open 24 hours every day and nice cafes nearby. My kids like to spin the giant Mani wheel and strike the giant bell.
