The ambience here is fun and buzzing. We a group of friends went here to play with our neighbor's kids. The children had a fun time.

This playground is one of the two parks in eastern Seletar Hills Estate. It faces a row of shophouses and is very near to Yio Chu Kang Road. An old school laundry shop occupies one of the shop unit. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the field here was a popular venue for football such that it was dubbed the "Wembly Stadium of Seletar Hills". Fandi Ahmad, a local footballer, played football at the field here too. It is fairly big park with a playground, shelters with benches and jogging paths. However the western part of Seletar Hills Estate has many parks/playgrounds and the roads there are named after trees like Nim, Neram, Saraca and Tamarind and plants such as Begonia and Mimosa.
Douglas Hiorns, General Manager of Bukit Sembawang Estates, used the Malay names of trees, shrubs and flowering plants to name the roads in the eastern Seletar Hills estate. He hoped to create among the residents an awareness of the rich history of plant life in Singapore. Jln Selaseh is named after sweet basil. Jln Kelulut is named after a shrub with yellow flowers and orange centres.
