Vintage in Singapore
Feb 2012 • Friends
This is an interesting store one must visit be it a tourist or a local living in Singapore - there are loads of vintage collectibles, cool accessories, vinyl records, apparels, sunshades and quirky finds in this haven. They mostly carry a collection of high-end designers accessories at a fraction of retailing price and oohh my they are still unused after all these years (and sought-after).

It is a rather underground vintage store but situated in a bustling shopping belt in Orchard Road at Far East Plaza. The owner of the store is very knowledgeable and true to genuine Vintage I must say and has a wide range of selective items that are worth buying. I bought a pair of Karl Lagerfeld earrings, 1980s Chanel necklace and a YSL keychain at a very fair price. Definitely a place for designer costume jewelry. I discreetly took some photos because photography is not allowed in the store. ;)

I've been to many vintage stores in the world - Australia, UK, France to name a few but I have never come across a store quite like this.

I will go back to this store for sure next time!

Amazing one stop shop for Authentic Vintage Curios, Clothings & Collectibles in SINGAPORE!!!

Entering this store is like entering a time-machine. Everything in there is like from another era. The best part is that the condition of these vintage items are at their very best. It is well stock with Authentic Designer sunglasses as far back into the 1940's, Also has a wide range of vintage denim jackets, shirts, military jackets and bell-bottom pants from the 1970's. Most of the items here are in immaculate condition so don't expect to pay flea market prices for them. However, still worth it in my opinion if you are going to be the first owner of something more than 40years old. The store is on the 4th floor on an old shopping mall(Far East Plaza)in between Hyatt and Goodwood Park Hotel. You might miss this tiny store if you are not attracted to vintage items as the door is mostly shut. You have to manually slide the door open in order to enter...a little intimidating but definitely worth it as you will be greeted with a massive range of vintage collectibles! The store owner does not really entertain you until he realises you have been hanging around a little longer than expected in his shop. Bought a pair of 1970's round framed Raybans still brand new in it's original case....totally loving it! shop opens mid-day from 3.30pm-9pm on Mon-Sat & 3.30-7.30pm on Sundays.
Definitely A MUST! for vintage lovers.
