A Singapore landmark, the Marina Bay Sands Skypark hangs poised atop the three towers of the waterfront Marina Bay Sands complex—and offers some of the city’s best views. Gain entry to the Observation Deck on the 57th floor and admire Supertree Grove, Gardens by the Bay, and so much more. Your ticket includes an audio guide, but do be aware that the Infinity Pool is reserved for hotel guests.

Themed as the "Play Centre in the West", West Coast Park is a large park located …. in the West of SG. It is majority manmade just below 10 years ago but fast becoming a Family to-go place. The park runs parallel to West Coast Highway, where we drove and parked at 1 of the many carparks. . It stretches from the eastern end of Pasir Panjang Wholesale Market all the way up West. West Coast Park is smaller in size and attractions than the (more famous) East Coast Park but it does offer several gems for Visitors.. . . The main draw will be the Adventure Playground (Area 3), it caters to the different age groups from young toddlers to the adults from flying-fox to Space-themed climbing net. Sure fun!. The spacious ground is all covered in sand to cushion falls. Besides being a Camping Site for tent pitching ground it is also popular among kite flying enthusiasts with its strong wind and spaciousness at the Grand Lawn. Save for a few large trees with its huge buttress roots the spaciousness provides breath of fresh air for all. a great place for a picnic or a game of frisbee with friends The Promenade lookout Jetty juts out of the park’s shoreline, offering a good view of sunset . It is close to the Yatch Club and thus one can see the jetty’s many yachts docked nearby.. The waterfront offers good sea view, but definitely with the distance ships/vessels and the Port’s cranes at the background.. We came just after lunch so it was hot! Taking a walk along the coastline the waterfront seem to continue seamlessly... One can also rent bicycles from GoCycling @ West Coast Park, an operator, and try the. bicycle distance course challenge! Tired and looking for a meal? There’s the waterfront La Pizzeria, with a breath-taking view of the pier. This little pizzeria is within the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club & opened to the public. For something simplifier there is also a Macdonald near to the playground, but always long q! Other Facilities in the Park includes : fitness corner, exercise garden with foot reflexology facilities and bird cage trellis, A marsh garden, bird sanctuary, Area 2 will be the BBQ pit ( boat-shaped barbeque pits) and dog run corner. A gem not to be missed.

West Coast Park may not be not as popular as East Coast Park but it has several gems to offer. I alighted at Haw Par Villa MRT station and cross the road to take either bus 175 or 176 for only two bus stops. This linear park runs parallel to West Coast Highway and the eastern end is just next to Pasir Panjang Wholesale Market. The eastern part of the West Coast Park starts with one of the largest Dog Run in Singapore. The jogging paths here are shaded by many Rain Trees with their large umbrella crowns. Beside other trees, there are also many Casuarina trees and Bird=nest ferns here creating a peaceful green haven. For a meal, one can dine at the waterfront La Pizzeria, with a breathtaking view of the pier. This little pizzeria within the Republic of Singapore Yacht Club is opened to the public and can access from the park from West Coast Ferry Road. It is closed on Monday and opening hours are limited to only lunch and dinner times. There is also a Mcdonald near to the playground. The Promenade Lookout Jetty juts out of the park’s shoreline, offering a good view of sunset and jetty’s many yachts docked nearby. The spacious Adventure Playground is home to four whole lanes of zip lines. The ground is also all covered in sand to cushion falls and there are also fun orbular space-themed and pyramid-shaped climbing nets. The waterfront offers good sea view on one side and numerous flowering hibiscus bushes on the other side. Bicycles can be rented from GoCycling @ West Coast Park. The waterfront continues seamlessly to a marshland boardwalk where species of birds such as White-breasted Waterhen, Striated Heron and hornbills come by occasionally. The Grand Lawn is a great place for a picnic or a game of frisbee with friends. It is also possible to enjoy Clementi Woods Park as it is linked to West Coast park by the West Coast Park Connecto

This is a park for cycling and walking, it is not crowded on weekdays. I like the peacefulness and the sea breeze.

Another visit to West Coast Park in March 2020. It was before the lockdown so the kids were able to use the playground, although some of the play equipment was under repair. A few good open areas for kicking a ball around and playing outdoor ball games.

I have made numerous trips to the West Coast Park over past 3 decades. I used to go there just for the sake of swinging by for a short break. Nothing really too remarkable. This time, the Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown in Malaysia side doesn’t allow me to return to work. Conveniently, West Coast Park becomes a good place for my evening walking and jogging ground. This gives me a total new look at the Park. No doubt the entire West Coast Park was 100% manmade, but the jogging ad cycling paths, trees, seaside and riverside bird sanctuary walk etc are a perfect blend with the yacht club, shipyards and modern port seaview, especially during the sunset hours. Huge playground for all outdoor activities. A real good place to go for a morning and evening walk, jog and cycling... or simply, camping. Good for family, friendship circle and individual. Could be much better if the Park authority could beef up gardening work at park end facing the city.
