There's nothing like a small private tour to see and experience "The Real Singapore" with Leong Woon. Leong was an excellent guide who showed my wife and I the sights in and around Singapore before we boarded a Southeast Asia cruise. Leong was very knowledgeable and personable and I would highly recommend him.

Me and my husband did the sins and salvations with Leong and had a great time! All of the food was delicious, we even tried the surprise 'dare devil' dishes!! This is a really interesting tour-quite a bit of walking and rather than loads of stops it's structured with a food stop at the beginning, walking / tour part then... More

We had a great time on our walking food tour of Singapore's Chinatown. This tour is a nice mix of traditional sightseeing, some local insights, and of course, food. Tour guide Leong Woon was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and was helpful with our son's dietary needs as well as letting us know where photos were okay or not, such as i... More

Thank you Leong Woon for such a terrific tour of Chinatown. While we've been to Singapore many times Leong gave us a great insight into the history, culture and food. One if the best tours done. We looked forward to doing many more with them.

Leong Woon is a walking encyclopedia of all things Chinatown and Singapore! He is very helpful and friendly, and ensures everyone enjoys the tour! The tour is multifaceted with a visit to Chinatown's wet markets with lots of hawker food to sample as well as a beautiful Buddhist temple and finally an urban planning office. You really walk away with... More

I loved Leong Woon's style as a tour guide, he was organised, friendly, and full of interesting stories and information. He took us to a variety of different places, such as the markets, housing for low income earners, and a buddhist temple, always enabling us to taste a plethora of different delicious foods along the way. He was organised and... More

Staying in Geylang

Neighbourhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city centre, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colourful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
