About
The breath-taking connection between Faber Peak Singapore and Sentosa Island Established since 1974, Singapore Cable Car is the nation's first and only cableway that links Faber Peak on mainland Singapore to the island resort of Sentosa, before flying you to the Merlion or the sandy beach at Siloso. Today, the cable car rides are enjoyed across a Cable Car Sky Network of more than 100 cabins spanning almost 5 kilometres on the Mount Faber Line and the Sentosa Line. A 'joyride' across the Cable Car Sky Network offers a 360-degree aerial and visual treat of the entire Sentosa-HarbourFront skyline and the resort island. The scenery transforms as the cabins soar above the forest, through a skyscraper, over the harbour and travel across the jungle, sand and sea. Our passionate service ambassadors are on hand to create happy moments for all cable car joyriders. Singapore Cable Car Opening Hours: From 8.45am to 10pm (Last boarding: 9.30pm)

    Singapore from the air
We took a taxi from the Sangria-La Hotel to the main entrance for the cable cars so we could go to the island and the mountain (it mountain is really the highest point in Singapore, not much of a true mountain). The island was a good place to see the beach and attractions, primarily catering to families with children. On the way to the island we passed over the cruise ship Azamara Quest (which we had sailed on the year before, just a coincidence) The view of Singapore from the “mountain” is worth taking the cable car trip. The restaurant close to the cable car was a welcome resting location to take in the sights, (good service for a tourist type of restaurant) So when the air clears (Coronavirus has ran its course), be certain to add the cable car trip to your Singapore excursion list! Wear something that you want your picture taken in since a professional photographer will take your pictures as you depart.

    Mobilitus
First time for a few years saw us use a combo with the Aquarium. No doubting the views , but of great concern was not the CRV19 which was consistently monitored but a more annoying disease of Mobilitus. Apart from one young lady on ticketing a group convened in the corner for a mobile conference totally ingnoring the growing line. Also operational staff seemed to have also contacted the desease. I honestly believe it will only be a matter of time before a safety incident occurs due to the lack of attention and irritating distraction . Please introduce some control over this . Y be a matter of time before an incident occurs due

One of the must do activity
A ride across to Santosa island via the cable car helps put every thing in perspective. You are able to take some amazing aerial photos. It's not expensive and well worth it and when on the island also do the island cable 3 as well. The days went were very quiet (coronavirus) effect. No ques and no waiting, absolutely wonderful. The Singapore govt as very informative and proactive in reassurance of their actions to counter any instances of infection. We spent 14 days in Singapore three of us 52, 65, 80 and we did every attraction and point of interest recommended and at all times we felt safe from any possible infection.

Great views but no air con and no digital ticket only possibility

The views are wonderful but there is no air con and not even a fan so on a hot day it's extremely hot and you're sweating.

Also bought tickets on line only to be told that the QR code we got was only valid to exchange with a paper ticket at the ticket office which had a massive queue and two people serving who didn't look they wanted to be!

Why bother selling on line and give us a QR code if we couldn't use it?

You should be able to buy on line and just use the QR code.

Not a great customer experience all round.

Needs massive improvement.

Dear TheMohawkSingapore, We want to express our gratitude for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent cable car experience. We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the various methods for ticket redemption based on your ticket type or chosen package, as well as the platform through which the ticket was purchased. We understand your frustration with the requirement to redeem your online ticket at our physical counter, which resulted in waiting in the ticketing queue. We acknowledge that this process may not have met your expectations for a seamless digital experience, and we apologize for any confusion it may have caused. It's important to note that the redemption process can differ depending on the type of ticket purchased and the terms and conditions set by different ticket providers or platforms. While we recommend online ticket purchases for convenience, specific tickets or packages may necessitate physical redemption due to certain restrictions or validation requirements. Regarding the absence of air conditioning in our cable car cabins, this is a common characteristic of cable car systems worldwide due to the lack of an electricity supply along the cable car line. When entering the stations, our cabins are equipped with charged batteries primarily reserved for emergency situations, such as displaying safety messages and powering the intercom system, as safety remains our top priority. However, our cabins are designed with windows and air vents to facilitate natural ventilation. Considering Singapore's tropical climate, we suggest visiting during the cooler morning or evening hours to enjoy a more comfortable ride and the opportunity to witness a breathtaking sunset. We want to assure you that our management is actively exploring ways to enhance the ventilation system to further improve the guest experience. Once again, we genuinely appreciate your valuable feedback. Kind Regards, Shidah Guest Relations, Mount Faber Leisure Group

We enjoyed our Cable Car ride from Mount Faber to Sentosa, beautiful views and the cable car staff were friendly and efficient. When we arrived at Sentosa there were no tickets available for the Skyline Luge. I would recommend to visitors, if you are considering doing the Skyline Luge you book your tickets before you arrive. The signage to return to Mount Faber to catch the Cable Car is ambiguous and needs some urgent attention. We went for a walk around Sentosa and due to work/repairs being undertaken we went to unintended places because the directional signs had not been changed. We needed assistance to find our way back. This was frustrating, :-(
Then to compound the frustration, when we arrived back at Mount Faber, it was impossible to catch any mode of public transport. There were a lot of other people waiting for taxis who were all having the same experience. None of us had a SIM card or Wi-fi; free Wi-fi at the Mount Faber station would benefit lots of stranded tourists. The 'Service Ambassador' was most unhelpful, so much so that he must practice this skill constantly to be so good at it, and the guy at the gift shop was rude and also most unhelpful. An older 'Service Ambassador' stepped forward and told us to catch the cable car back to the HarbourFront Station and we might have more luck with transport. We found the MRT station and with help from a friendly local we got home safely. That local person should be the 'Service Ambassador'.
It was a disappointing way to end our day.

Dear Rozh428, We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your Cable Car experience. However, we regret any inconvenience and frustration caused by the temporary closure of tracks and paths on Sentosa due to ongoing projects. Your insights regarding the unclear signage and challenges in navigating back to the Sentosa line are extremely valuable. Be assured that we are fully committed to addressing these concerns to elevate the overall visitor experience in Sentosa. We would like to underscore that there is no designated taxi stand at Mount Faber Peak. Nevertheless, free Wi-Fi is provided by MFLG, which requires a sign-in login. Alternatively, our Service Ambassador stationed at the lobby advises guests to await an available taxi whenever a passenger disembarks at Mount Faber. On occasion, they may also attempt to contact the taxi operator to secure a taxi, a process limited to one booking at a time. Furthermore, another option is to recommend that guests return via the cable car, provided they possess a valid ticket, to Harbourfront Station, where more taxis are readily available. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and any lapses in inefficient communication by our staff members. Thank you for your invaluable feedback, which we will utilize to further enhance our customer service experience. Your insights are integral to our improvement efforts, and we look forward to welcoming you back for a more enjoyable experience in the future. Your Sincerely, Shidah Guest Relations, Mount Faber Leisure Group

We just went one way because the booked tour was Very confusing and convoluted about how to return.

The ride over was fine. Cable cars are cable cars. So you get your photos along the journey and arrive at a destination.

It has amazing views. Queue to buy tickets are hassle free and relatively short, even for a weekend. Sentosa line can be improved - legs are just much too short and seemingly forced.

We decided to try the cable car experience for a nice relaxing way to spend a couple of hours after a long flight. Our family really enjoyed this trip, we went in the evening so we could enjoy the sunset and then see the city lit up at night. I would recommend getting a Cable Car Sky Pass directly from the website as this takes you round all the terminals, and you can hop on and off and look around if you want. We did this and it meant the whole trip took a couple of hours, although you could do the whole trip in half an hour if you didn't get out at the stops. Great value in my view and highly recommended!

We took a taxi to Mount Faber in order to take a cable car trip to Sentosa. After waiting a fair amount of time in front of the ticketing office and for the cable car itself we got in. The trip is a nice relaxed way to get to Sentosa with nice views en route. On the way back we decided take the monorail back to the mainland, although the returnees included inter ticket.

This was a spur of the moment decision, as we were looking for something to fill in the time before we could check in to our hotel.
Really enjoyed the view on our round trip, amazing to see right out over the harbour. Reasonably priced and would recommend.

The views from the cable car are stunning, nothing to say about it. But 35$ for a less than 10 minutes ride? Also pay attention at the counter… I said I wanted a ticket to Sentosa island from Mount Faber, and the lady issued me a return ticket… I never said I wanted a return ticket. Felt a bit like being scammed.

Dear ilMeMbro, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the stunning views during your cable car ride. Both lines offer a delightful experience, showcasing the beauty of the surrounding landscapes. We would like to clarify that the standard round trip for the Mount Faber Line takes approximately 30 minutes, while the Sentosa Line takes around 20 minutes, without exiting the line. However, we also offer the flexibility for our guests to hop on or off at each station once during their journey, which can add excitement and exploration to the overall ride. We apologize if there was any miscommunication at the counter regarding the ticket purchase. Our intention is always to provide clarity and ensure our guests have a seamless experience. We understand that you were looking for a one-way ticket from Mount Faber to Sentosa Island, and we regret any confusion caused. It's important to note that we currently offer round-trip tickets for our cable car service, and we apologize if this was not properly explained to you. Regarding the pricing, we regularly review our rates to ensure they align with the experience we provide. We appreciate your feedback on this matter and will consider it as we continue to improve our services. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment you may have experienced. Your satisfaction is essential to us, and we value your feedback to help us enhance our offerings. Thank you for choosing our cable car service, and we appreciate your understanding.
