Empress place is part of the Asian museum complex. Nice colonial heritage building. The area looks very nice in the evening when they turn the lights on for the buildings in the surrounding area.

This lovely colonial building was constructed in 1864-67. It used to be a government office. It has now become the place to house the wonderful Asian Civilisations Museum.

The Empress Place Building now houses the Asian Civilisations Museum. It's an impressive looking structure, as are the other buildings in the vicinity (including the old parliament house and the Victoria Concert Hall). I have walked past it many times over the past 10 years and it always retains its majestic appearance.

This building is nice to look at but you can appreciate it even more if you visit the inside....Asian Civilization Museum. It's very informative. The building looks good during day but even better light up at night.

Gives you what is left of Singapore in the developments! Feels like you are back in time! Never tired of sitting or just walking around here.

This place has turned out to be beautiful at night. Great ambiance. I love walking around. The museums offer delightful insights into history. It is also pleasant to have a drink at the Fullaton Hotel and enjoy the surroundings.
