Good souvenir shopping

I feel there is a bit more variety here compared to Chinatown markets. It is under the one roof and the food court is always packed with locals.

Ok. If you need economy food in Orchard Road, Far East Plaza is one place I would go. Most of the food outlets are on the 5th Floor. Ranging from traditional malay Nasi Padang , chinese local food and other food stalls.

Not only we couldn't find any fake bags, we couldn't find anything worth browsing. It's probably one of the worst plaza on Orchard

If you are going to this local shopping center located next to the Grand Hyatt, you have to go to APSARA JEWELS #3-127A, on the third floor. The owners (Gaby Yip and her husband Weng Yee) are the nicest people and they sell gorgeous things made in jade, chalcedony and other stones. I wish I had bought more things from... More

On many websites Far East Plaza is praised as the place to be to go on bagain hunting. I don't think this mall is the cheapest shopping center. It has a few stores selling cheaper stuff, but prices range from 10 SGD and can be pretty expensive (I saw dresses for more than 100 SGD), so not everything in there... More

Tailors for custom suits, pedicures and manicures, fresh fruit juice, Japanese yakatori, Malaysian and Filipino food, bank machines, shoe stores, reflexology and massage shops, etc etc. fun and interesting. We come here regularly.

Spent a total of 15mins inside this terribly aged and quiet shopping centre with so little to offer, they might as well knock it down and build a circus over it if they want to draw modern day attention. Don't waste your time on this stretch if Orchard Road. Just stay at Ion. Good enough for most.
