Chinese tea drinking is an amalgamation of tea ware, tea leaves, brewing methods and even drinking techniques. When my wife and I recently visited Enjoy Tea, the owner Michael Teo distilled his years of enjoying Chinese tea and helped us to better understand the art and science of enjoying Chinese tea.
Tea products are creatively displayed on open shelves as well as on a long table in the centre. The more expensive teapots are displayed inside glass cupboards. As items caught our eye, Michael would take them for our inspection and explain their origin and use. There is a wide range of available products and prices vary to suit different budgets.
At the end of our 1.5 hours' visit, we bought an exceptional oolong tea with price to match. We also purchased 2 lovely Ruyao tea cups with Seigaiha design.

Did you know drinking tea in certain cups can completely ruin your precious brew's flavor?
Simply fantastic experience! Visit this shop B4 you buy any teaset!!
Michael (the owner) is a world class tea expert, true connoisseur and a kind educator who's passion for only the best converts this little shop in a must visit destination while in Singapore!! The tea tasting very valuable! I walked out with a newly found appreciation for the subtle and complex nuances found in the many tea profiles. Much like wine, variefies, terroir and the type of glass all play key roles in the whole experience. And so, the world of serious tea drinking has no business in the touristy shops selling cheap tea sets. The true secret is in the way cups are made and glazed! Visit Michael & transform the way you sip your tea!
(And while you're there, cross the street & visit the Buddha tooth Relic Temple!)

Popped in here to buy some white tea and an hour and a half later left with some tea and much more wisdom about tea. Michael the owner is trying to sell tea but give him time to educate you, time to enthuse you and you will appreciate a whole new facade to tea that you probably do not know. If you are a fan of puerr teas then try his aged oolongs; they will blow you out of the water. They are simply some of the best teas I have tried. Yes they are no cheap, but neither is fine malt whiskey or wine, and yet these teas are in the same class. Michael's enthusiasm about his product is amazing: go there spend some time with him to learn and buy some tea. Awesome.

This tea shop is the great place to taste authentic Chinese teas in Singapore. I recommend you to ask the owner, Michael, about his mountain rock teas (yan cha from Wuyi mountains)... They are the best in Singapore I have experienced so far.
The place is really nicely located in Chinatown opposite the Buddha Tooth temple. With humility and generosity. Michael always seems happy to sit and chat with you around a delicious tea cup.
To me, Enjoy Tea is from far one of the best tea places to share and learn about Chinese tea in Singapore.

Michael was a knowledgeable host with many details about the quality, authenticity and flavour of teas. We tasted a green tea followed with a Oolong tea, both were unique and refreshing. Recommend a tea tasting and ask Michael about the tea pots!

Michael is super knowledgeable and while I suppose he is ultimately trying to sell tea...his prices are relatively reasonable (but ultimately expensive if you are used to Lipton tea bags) for what it is. That is kind of the point of going to this place. This isn't Lipton tea bags, this is the equivalent of a wine or beer tasting and there is value there.
You can tell there is a passion there and that he enjoys his craft. I learned a lot and I have been drinking tea for years.

Me and my friend were once wandering through Chinatown and came across with Enjoy Tea, since then we have become regulars and even took Michael's lessons on Chinese tea as well. You will spend here easily 3 hours and won't realize it. Premium selection of tea and authentic place. Highly recommended.

I love this tea place - it is very authentic, the owner is honest tea enthusiast who has great selection of premium quality of tea and tea ware. Michael lets you taste some of his tea before you buy it, so you can decide what you like best. Enjoy!
