I was a member of the Omni-max theater when my kids were like 7-14. We would watch every movie that came, some were of course better than other so there is no need for me to comment on any movie since you will be seeing a different show. The theater underwent a major renovation several years back. The beat position... More

Very nice centre with themed areas for kids or adults to discover science through a less academic approach. Been there with 5yrs and 2yrs kids : not appropriate though for this age range. As from 7yrs would be ideal. When ending, cross the road to opposite mall to be sure catch a taxi or bus.

We watched a digital movie, Back to the Moon for Good during the SG50 period. It was exceptional. Even better than we expected. Even though my kids didn't understand part of it, the 3D experience was so real that we felt as if we were floating in a space craft on the moon and spinning around the earth. When we... More

It's not good. First is the film, is not interesting for kids. Second the theatre space is not big. Make me headache.

We booked tickets for the Omni theatre at the same time as admission tickets to the Science centre. We were not certain what we were going to see because the Science centre staff had very little or no information about the shows. When we purchased the tickets, we had assigned seats and since we purchased them early, we had good... More

They say its first large dome screen and once you enter in the done you understand why does it say large dome. its fantastic experience to see a movie in it but they should play long movies rather than small docs. Its worth the money as the view will make you feel as if you are in the movie. move... More

first large dome screen I have seen - you do feel like you are part of the experience. The films are more of an educational nature, and last 40 minutes, but you have to pay each time. Check the website for the current shows and watch the trailers - we saw the lemurs, which was an interesting show, but one... More

The screen in the omni theatre was cylindrical so that u get a real viewing experience. There are 3 movies shown in a loop. We watched lemurs. Shark show may be good tooit is just a 40 min documentary show but a must watch thing..

If you had been to Futuroscope in Poitiers, France or L'Hemisferic in Valencia, Spain, the verdict is that Omni Theatre is a regional best but not a world's classic. This is my second visit after a space of 10 years. Some refurbishment and replacement works done. The entrance to the Omni Theatre was unusual. On its own, an Omni ticket... More

This attraction was opened in 1988 and has been a quiet gem of Singapore. The curved screen has recently be renovated and replaced with a new one after more than 20 years. Worth every penny for the massive cinema screen experience, 3D experience and powerful audio system. Only complaint is that there is not many variety of shows. The Omni... More
