Website Inaccurate; Mass Timings are Wrong
Dec 2019
Website of Sacred Heart is Inaccurate

We viewed the website for daily mass and it indicated a 9 am schedule but it is wrong. There is no 9 am mass schedule.

For morning mass, only 7 am is available. Please advise website administrators of Sacred Heart SG to change accuracy of mass timings. Christmas mass schedule 2020 and CNY 2021 is seen in photos.

Penitential Service December 2018
Dec 2018 • Solo
I attended the 8pm Penitential Service in this Church in town about a week before Christmas 2018. It’s conveniently located near 2 MRT stations, namely, Fort Canning and Dhoby Ghaut MRT stations.

Years ago my parents brought my 3 brothers and I to attend Sunday Masses in this Church because we lived nearby. Since a number of years ago, the Church was renovated and I found it beautifully transformed. It’s worth a visit if you are in the vicinity.

Very nice and old church. Walked passed by it and saw so many people so thought I’d have a look. Looks very nice and definitely worth a visit.

Catholic church
Sep 2017 • Solo
This is one of the many catholic churches in Singapore with complete service every Sunday and catechism classes. It's very nice in shape though it is more than 100 years old.

There's always a Catholic Church anywhere in the world
Jul 2018 • Couples
Anywhere in the world, if it's a Sunday, we will look for a Catholic Church for the Sunday mass. Church of the Sacred Heart is the nearest from our hotel in Liang Court. We arrived early for the 9:00am English mass, so we waited outside while the mass in Mandarin is going on.

Before the start of the mass, some lined up at the confessional. No wonder, several, if not all, received communion.

One of the intentions of the mass was for the rescue of the Thai soccer players and their coach. Later in the day, four boys were rescued and two days later, all the remaining players and their coach were safely rescued. An answered prayer, isn't it?

Beautiful little church
May 2018 • Couples
We went to Sunday Mass at this intimate little church on Tate Road, and loved the experience. The language was English (9.00 am) . The choir sang beautifully.

The regular congregation was warm and welcoming.

This was our first Mass in SEA and I have to say I was impressed by the turn out. Not an empty seat. Although we could not understand the readings, the homily was partially in English. Beautiful space with gorgeous roses on the side of the church. Check out the Columbarium out back.

Solemn Mass
Jun 2017 • Couples
Heard a solemn mass at the chapel of the Church of the Sacred Heart. The priest said a short but meaningful homily. He said "Look up and remember that God keeps his covenant." If we keep on looking down we might become cynical and skeptical.
The mass started at 5:30 pm and ended at 6:00 pm.
The mass schedules can be viewed on line through the church's website.

Best Catholic Church in Town
Apr 2017 • Solo
So I go to mass every weekend but there's something about this church that makes me wanna return every weekend, over the other Catholic Churches in the area. Yes it's a walk from the nearest subway (or MRT, as we call it here) but don't be fooled by the Cathedral-looking exterior. The church inside is small and cozy, and that makes it quieter somehow without too much shuffling from other worshippers. The interior is beautiful and bright, and definitely worth a photo op even if you're not here to worship. But for travelling Catholics, do swing by if you're in Singapore because I'd recommend this quaint church over the more famous ones in the Downtown Core.
