Nov 26 was our Jubilee wedding anniversary and we attended the Dinner Cruise and Wine Tasting event. Due to the pandemic, travel outside Singapore was out of the question. In a tiny state, I was at my wits' end on how to make the occasion a memorable one. Thankfully, it was also Thanksgiving day and I chanced upon the special event - Dinner Cruise with Wine Tasting on a Thursday night. It was not about the wine as we both are social drinkers only but I was glad to try out something special to celebrate the occasion. Of course I was worried about the weather and whether free flow of wine would end up with noisy guests if they got drunk. All my worries did not materialize. The ambience was romantic, the crew were attentive and most attendees were couples. The songs they played on the ship were popular love songs in the late 80s and early 90s which we were very familiar with. The crew were very patient with the incessant requests from customers asking to take photos for them. Ms Anna, the short-hair lady even remember that we were celebrating anniversary (with a few others celebrating birthdays) and took the initiative to ask if we would like to take some photos when the ship passed by the Keppel Bay bridge. The food was not the best but not bad either. Although we were not able to follow our original travel plan overseas, we are thankful that the cruise still make my occasion a pleasantly memorable one. I would recommend couples (especially the matured ones over 30s) to give this a try. It depends on the weather as all of us sit on upper deck where we could enjoy the sea breeze. Other than that which is beyond anyone's control, the dinner cruise was really recommendable.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had in my life! The food was delicious, drinks were great! The drink I recommend is named “ bartender’s surprise” it will blow your mind. It’s a mock tail so there is no alcohol. The view and trip was so relaxing, it will be a romantic or fun trip to bring your couple or family with. The crew are polite and the ship is neat. I have nothing bad to say about this trip. You must come and experience this sunset moment!

This is our third sail on the royal albatross and the best we have had. The last two were either rained out or some other issue made it less memorable. Tonight was spot on. The service especially by Anna and Yuszairie was fantastic. The food was a significant improvement from the prior sails and we were blessed with an amazing evening. The crew took the roof panels off and we enjoy breezes and stars and even saw the star of Bethlehem!

Upon embarking and taking our seats, we were told that we could not leave our seats for the whole cruise except to go to toilet. Annoying was being told this once we embarked due to COVID, Part of the $400 price tag was to enjoy the boat and move about. Even my wife dressed up for the occasion in the hope of some nice photos and experiences on a boat. None could be taken unless seated at our table with other tables around us.
The seafood Buffet was served on one plate for four.
The equal split each was ~4 standard prawns, 2 oysters, half small crayfish and some blue manner legs, one bread bun, soup and desert. Oysters were yummy. Free flow drinks.
Upon completion we went to another restaurant due to being hungry. Interesting we saw other passengers also eating at same restaurant.

We take pride in our quality of food and service and we welcome honest unbiased feedback, however, we felt that you had misrepresented us and your views are unjustified.
The Seafood Sunday lunch menu includes (per pax) soup, 3 oysters and caviar, 3 prawns, 1 Boston lobster, 2 snow crab legs, marinated baby octopus, salad, and a medley of desserts. The quantity of food is ample as can be seen from the photos posted: https://posts.gle/3HMM5C
Free-flow Prosecco, wine, beer, and soft drinks are also included, and most importantly a sail on Asia’s only luxury tall ship, all for a respectable price of $195 per pax. All our food is also prepared freshly in-house.
We are required by law to follow government COVID-19 regulations. The same rules apply to all restaurants in Singapore. We appreciate they are inconvenient and limit movement, however pleased be assured that they are for everyone's safety and that we all need to play our part. That said, we still do allow photo taking from many of the photo points onboard. We simply request guests to ask our crew so they can manage guest movements, one group at a time.
Please feel free to contact us directly to address any grievances you may have about the cruise as we strive to provide all our guests with the best experiences money has to offer.

Had an amazing dinner and time on The sunset cruise. Good food and excellent service. The crew went all is out to help my mother who is 84. We had a lovely table and a bench to plonk all my things. Emails prior to our meal came with very good directions,meal confirmation and procedures of when to check in,what to bring etc.
Really warm crew, very hospitable.
This is going to be a bit off for some...but the loo is worth a mention. So clean and well lit. I was expecting a bucket.
Had a very enjoyable evening. Hope to come again

Beautiful surprise birthday surprise from my wife. Amazing setting and ambience. The food was very good and all in high standard. Crews were very attentive, polite and helpful. Many photo opportunities while on board. Nice soft music on the background while drinking wine, what’s there not to love? The Albatross itself is a very unique and spotless, steeped in history and wonderful attention to detail. Overall a very wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and special experience. Go on, treat your love one for this special day out. We booked this experience in advance to be able to see Singapore the city from the sea in the evening.
We chose the four-course menu with wine pairing + supplement for the seat on the bow.
The food was excellent and the wines good.
We had a great time.
The experience is absolutely worth it, we will do it again.

I loved every single aspect of my experience. It was a nice little escape from the city. I tried both the Sunset Dinner Cruise and the City Lights Dinner Cruise. It's hard to say which one I enjoyed more because both of them had its own charm.
I first went for the City Lights Dinner Cruise with my boyfriend to celebrate our Anniversary. The cruise started at 8:00 pm and it ended around 11:00 pm. My favourite part of the cruise was the live music. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. The food was also quite nice. We had a three course meal that was very filling. Overall it was a very romantic evening and I was so glad we decided to celebrate our Anniversary on the Royal Albatross.
For my second cruise, I went for the Sunset Cruise with my family for a birthday celebration. The cruise started at 4:30 pm and ended around 7:30 pm. It was nice to start the cruise when there was still daylight. The food was more or less the same as the Dinner Cruise. What made this cruise memorable was that there was a young man who proposed to his girlfriend. It was such a heartwarming moment to witness.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this company. On August 3rd, I was informed by a staff member, Danial, that due to operational issues, the sailing date for August 23rd had been cancelled. This was supposed to be a proposal package with firm dates, crucial for such an important occasion. While Danial offered to upgrade from a 4-course to a 7-course meal free of charge and suggested changing the date, this completely missed the point. The date was chosen specifically for the proposal, and any change was simply disrupting my plan and affecting all other arrangements. Morever, the explanation for the cancellation was simply 'due to operational issues' which did not make any sense, seeing the charter was sailing that very same day and that there was really no logical reasoning such as force majeure or even bad weather etc.
To make matters worse, on August 19th, I was contacted by another staff member, Pris, who reminded me to join the proposal WhatsApp group—even though I had already cancelled the package. After investigating, Pris discovered that my original booked sailing had been cancelled for a corporate charter, which was eventually cancelled and offered back to me. The real issue was that Danial failed to remove my name from the proposal reservation list, which caused so much unnecessary confusion and stress without proper resolution. It seems the late cancellation due to this cited 'operational issue' simply turned out to be a private charter being prioritised over current bookings which is deeply unprofessional and simply done at their own discretion whatsoever which is clearly not due to factors beyond their control.
Adding to the frustration, there was no actual compensation offered for the inconvenience caused—just an upgrade in services that did not address the core issue of the cancelled date. This oversight forced me to scramble and find alternative plans last minute, ruining what was supposed to be a special day. The lack of communication, coordination, and adequate compensation from this company is deeply frustrating, and I would not recommend their services for any important

We are saddened to hear about your disappointment. We contacted you on 5th August because we wanted to give you as much notice as possible to make alternative proposal arrangements just in case the sailing was rescheduled. As we explained, we were very sorry for the inconvenience caused and we wanted to make it up to you. However, as you were unable to change the date, we refunded you. It was a mistake that we contacted you again on the 19th August and we have modified our SOP's accordingly to prevent this happening again. If you would still like to sail with us, please contact our reservations team and we'll try hard to make up for the disappointment again.

Every little detail was thoughtful, great food and beautiful live guitar/singing at the background at just the right volume. They even have a little horror chamber with live actors which was a nice touch. We loved it!!

The Royal Albatross is an ocean-going super yacht that weighs in at 270 tonnes with a massive keel to keep her upright and stable. Very occasionally, a passenger may experience some discomfort, in which case we recommend that they stay on the upper deck for fresh air, with their eyes on a fixed object.

Thanks for your question. There are two types of Sunset Sail City Lights tickets - Platinum and Gold. Platinum comes with a waiter served 3 course dinner while Gold is a self serve buffet dinner. We look forward to welcoming you on board.

Hi there, due to the presence of alcohol at our bars on board, we don't have a halal license. However, our food menu is no pork, no lard. We are constantly receiving Malay couple from around the region to our ship for both our dockside tours and sunset sails. We will be glad to have you on board.

Ahoy there and thanks for your question. Dockside tour means the ship stays at her berth and does not sail. Fun Pass guests are welcome to step onboard to look around our unique luxury tall ship and ask our crew questions. Tickets are available online for those guests would like to sail with us.

Hello there and thanks for your question. On our Friday Sunset Sail (buffet format), guests very welcome (and expected) to revisit for second helpings. On Saturdays, dinner is plated and served to your table. If guests would like additional servings, they are very welcome to ask the crew who will be pleased to try and assist.
