Been here once before and had a good experience.

However on the second visit, we got to witness a manager or senior staff repeatedly punch one of the bartenders in some sort of bullying. He did this in full view of staff and customers. This was on 22 January.

In addition, we just had one drink each which came to $125, which was not advised to us in advance.

The drink price I can forgive and forget, buy the bullying of staff is something I can't forget and will tell everyone about

Need to impress the boss, or that important client, D. Bespoke is a wonderful experience for the sophisticated bar patron, or just someone looking to learn about the finer points in rare alcohol beverages. The place is well designed with booth visuals and acoustics. Served by professionals in white gloves, they have an extensive collection of rare whiskies, armagnac, calvados, and some wines. The staff are exceptionally knowledgable and will also spend time to educate you one any product or product line they serve. Many of the products they carry are developed for the exclusive Japanese fine markets.

Set in the historic essence of a speak easy, the place may not be easy to find, if you are looking.
The entrance is a fake store front, when upon confirming your reservation you are whisked away beyond a hidden door to a gorgeous and comfortable bar seen. One of the few places in Singapore that knows how to make a proper Old Fashioned, it is a delight for both the nose, and the taste buds.

This is not a place for noisy drinking, this is a place to take you back in time and enjoy master pieces of fine drinking. Enormous attention to detail in all areas, D. Bespoke also has a cigar room upstairs. The food menu is limited to fine cold cuts, and fine cheeses, that also create a wonderful experience for the taste buds.

I came here with my bf for a night cap after dinner at Binomio. We chanced upon this place while strolling along bukit pasoh. We were seated at the bar and it was pretty obvious this was our first time visiting this bar. Instead of giving us an option of a menu, the bartender immediately asked us what we would like to drink. My bf and I are no whisky connoisseurs so we gave an amateur description of how we usually like our whisky. Voila, he took out for different whiskeys and asked us to choose one we like. As per his instructions, we chose whatever we preferred and he poured us a glass, without telling us the price of the drink..and when the bill came, it was a whopping $182. I really don't mind paying a premium for good drinks, but if the drink was going to cost more than $50 a pop, isn't it basic courtesy to inform your customer in advance? Never coming back again....... I hope this isn't D bespoke's business model to rip their first time customers off. Pretty awful experience I must say.

Arrogant, classist and probably even racist. Four of us went there, curious of this hidden bar, but we left before even having a single drink. The staff was dismissive and least interested in answering our questions about the place. When asked for a menu, they rolled their eyes saying they didn't have one- it was very clear that we weren't 'the intended demographic' for their place. The prices they said could be anything north of 70 bucks for a single drink, probably felt we couldn't afford their drinks. The final statement- ' So are you going to have a drink or not?'- Irritated by their attitude we left wondering how in this day and age, do we still judge a book based on its cover.

When to bespoke to grab a drink. Had the worst service ever. How they could achieve to be in top 50s is shocking. No pricing, does not make any sense for customers not knowing the price n just order.
Such a ripp off place. If i could give 0, i would.

The whole experience was good, up until the point when two of my friends went to the bathroom after we settled out bill. They were about to walk into the bathroom but was asked to wait until a female customer to go in first, who has been waiting for the toilet to be vacant at her seat.

It is not our problem that you only have one female toilet. There was also no need for the staff to threaten to close the toilet on my friends.

Aren't we customers too?

Drinks were decent but this kind of customer service completely ruined the experience. Anyone would expect a better service when you pay S$50 a drink.

Prompt service and they make sure you're well-taken care of.
Delicious cocktails, good variety of alcohol. Don't think they have beers though.
Love the bar counter seat: fine sofa seat, cushioned counter, watch the bartenders prepare the drinks with style and elegance.
Although prices are not listed, they are considerate of your pocket and recommend accordingly to your budget.

Well, prices are on the higher end, but not stopping me from returning whenever I feel like having a good cocktail. It's a befitting fine bar.

D.Bespoke is located in a very quaint place of Bukit Pasoh. There is a strange reception at the entrance that resembles a tailor store, with glass displays of thingamabobs. It is very reminiscent of a movie set, but reality sets in very quickly when you realise that the props were all real...and that they cost a colossal bomb. This place is like a butler cafe that serves alcohol, with a slight crossover of a host club. The prices are definitely not for the commoner heart.

Every single staff is Japanese, with the exception of the lady receptionist and one Caucasian staff (who speaks Japanese as well). Most of them speak English. You get ushered into a very boisterous counter with about ten gigantic armchairs, and the feeling that these staff are trying their utmost best with providing stellar presentation in service. The bottles of whiskies, rums and sherries lined up neatly at the back, and some of them looked really rare. The bar was relatively empty at that hour - There were less than seven customers.

Staff #1 informs me that there was no menu, to which I was not too comfortable with. I asked how am I going to place my order, and he replied "by asking questions". There is a food menu, though. Not a single item had a price tag to it.
The questions were very generic, and were about your preferences to.a drink. I somehow landed myself a brandy cocktail, which was quite good - but I began to wonder if the permutations were mostly fixed. Staff #2 starts some small talk, and I interviewed Staff #3 for a while, and it was then I noticed that there is a queer hidden taboo in this bar.

The interactions were often very abrupt, with the staff suddenly trailing off, despite him being the one who popped the small-talk question. #2 was all the more exemplary. He ran off in the middle of a sentence just to see a Japanese customer off (He coins it "omotenashi", which I felt was a little too exaggerated.) or showing little interest/sincerity in talking. I guess speaking was a taboo. Laughing too. You can't seem to laugh either, but... wait a minute! You serve alcohol which makes tipsy people giggly sometimes!

There was Staff #4, #5 and #6 who were mostly guarding the back of the seats - I guess they were the butlers passing off as security, to prevent you from dashing out without footing the bill. Not a word was said, nor a step was made. They just stood there until the end of time. I would see #1 and #3 (#2 probably disappeared because we spoke too much) scuttling around with their orders. The service levels were not as top-notch as I thought they would be, and I felt so burdened by their excessive levels of service that I'd rather do without it.

I was glad that there was no minimum spending, but the 'discreet' bill did feel like a shuriken to my commoner wallet. It was approximately 50 SGD each, which is probably the current record holder for the most expensive drink (below 300ml) in Singapore. Had I ordered a sake or a glass of whisky, the bill could have doubled. I do believe that it is basic courtesy that the price be made known to us.

Alas, it could be that this place only wants to serve the super-rich and the great great Gatsbies, with massive pennies to spare. Or! If you'd like to destroy your Tinder date's wallet, you may give this place a shot. =)

The atmosphere of this bar was good, but staffs service was so terrible.

One staff asked for the order of drinks for a while even though the customer was sitting in front of him.
We could order it eventually, however drinks came out slowly despite staff looked not be busy.

Although they tried to be dignified, I felt only as if they were just bossy including other movements.
On top of all that, two or three staffs was checking in front of us what other customers had orderd for.
It interrupted our enjoyment time.

In regard to pricing, it was not fair in view of service.

I regreted this was the first time to feel such an unpleasant feeling. We have no plan to visit again.
